Juniper Hill Golf Course — Local services in Frankfort

It's a great golf course for the money. Well maintained. Good practice facilities: putting green, chipping green with bunkers, hitting nets for swing warm ups. I've been playing this course for 10 years and they keep improving the quality. A new green was constructed. Bunkers were updated. Tee boxes have been lengthened.

The course (par70) plays a bit short with a few drivable par 4's if you can crush it. But a few long par 4's will give you your run for your money. The par 3's are long and challenging. Bunkers don't come into play very often. The front 9 is wide open and very hilly with wind being a big factor. The back 9 is more flat and wooded. I played after a night of raining and the course was still one of the best I’ve played. Not a single puddle of mud in sight. The greens ran perfectly, tee boxes were as if the course just opened, and overall was as if I played on a bright and sunny day. Played recently in Ryder Cup event. Staff friendly enough. Course not n very good shape. Rough to tall, greens very very firm, struggled to hold wedge shots. One last thing. I signed in and paid left wallet on the counter was notified over the P.A. Went n pro shop to retrieve my wallet did not look inside until I got home.
