I had the el mezcal their signature dish along side a margarita. The al pastor was out of this world some of the best pork I have ever had. The Tostada was incredible. The quasadilla taco with al pastor was amazing. The rice and beans were standard fair but the flauta definitely felt out of place and the chicken was blackened and burned on inside. I would recommend swapping it with a taco or another of those al pastor quasadillas as it was the only sour note on an otherwise perfect meal. I finished it off with Tres Leche but I did find out it is not made in house which is disappointing however it was still quite good. The margaritas are strong and priced to move with a large at 8$. I had two and was definitely where I wanted to be. The Tostada was piled high and the al pastor quasadilla taco were worthy of high praise. Keep up the good work with the al pastor and ditch the flauta. You can do better there. Despite that I still give this place a 10/10 as the pork quasadilla taco brought me to places I have never been before with a unique flavor profile I have never experienced elsewhere.

The service was also quite good with a very attentive wait staff. I regret waiting as long as I did to try...

This place has been on my places to try list so I finally called them to see if there were any taco Tuesday specials. It was a man who picked up and had an attitude. I still decided to go. When I got there I was greeted by a man which turned out to be the server as well. I’m pretty sure it was the guy who answered the phone and had an attitude for asking a simple question. I asked the server is there any deals and he said no then I told him about the phone call I made. The server goes to say well yes we have deals. Why lie? My apologies that you’re working a job that you have to interact with ppl. Perhaps you’re having a bad day. Don’t take it out on others. Also please don’t assume a persons character off looks. Someone can do it to you. I tipped well below cause I work for my money so I want to be treated right if someone wants mine. You’re not entitled. Blessings to you.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and I’ll never go here again. The...

I saw good reviews for this restaurant so my friend and I thought we'd try it. The food was pricey for what was received. The atmosphere was very nice. The service was good. When viewing the menu, I was surprised to see that mozzarella was served in many of their dishes. If you want the Chihuahua cheese, it comes at an upcharge. My friend had a quesadilla chicken dinner it was $25.00. she said it was good, however she did not eat the beans or rice. My steak burrito dinner was reasonably priced, however, the meat lacked seasoning/flavor. My margarita was okay. My friend had a mojito, which she thought was okay. We do not plan on returning. I guess we should have gone to Fat Rosie's. if it had been thursday, we would have gone to Jameson's for the South of the border drink and...

Like all my reviews, I try to keep everything really factual. Bonus, they were open on Labor Day, we wanted to have lunch somewhere and we are excited to be able to try this place out. The inside is well decorated with beautiful murals all over. We also found most of the staff to be super friendly. Me and my husband ordered tacos and a burrito and they were both very good, we like the portion size and felt like it had really good flavor. My only con; our waiter asked if we wanted anything else and I requested extra salsa, which I didn't get until I was completely done with my meal. That was super disappointing, I like to have salsa with my meal and not having it brought over till well after I was done eating, pissed me off. And he didn't even apologize. Argh...
