McDonald's — Restaurant in Franklin Township

These guys mess up my order every single time I come here. Especially my coffee order. This morning specifically, my husband and I ordered a large iced mocha. We were not offered a receipt and our order-taker was very lackluster. At the second window, they handed me a coldbrew coffee, which I recognized was the incorrect drink, as it looked nothing like the iced mocha, and they’ve done this before. We handed it back and asked for the correct drink. They had us pull up to the third window and made us wait. Then they handed us a medium, and when we told them we ordered a large, they asked for our receipt and we reminded them that we were never even offered one. They made us wait longer, then said they rang us up for a medium and we’d have to pay the difference. I asked for a refund. They ended up giving me what they disguised as an iced mocha, fooling me, and sent us on our way. When I tasted the drink down the road, I realized they literally just put the coldbrew coffee into a large cup, put whipped cream on top and called it a mocha. I’m super disappointed, because we were given attitude and a hard time over THEIR mistakes, because apparently it’s too much to just expect the drink that we actually ordered, and I know that no one will even reach out to me to resolve this, and my review will just get lost in all of the other negative ones.

As someone who has worked at mcdonald’s, I know I’d be absolutely reamed by my managers if I did this. I know I shouldn’t expect much from a McDonald’s, but I’d at least expect to get what I ordered. Now, I realize no one goes to McDonald's for some kind of five-star dining experience. But I do feel like there should be a baseline level, sort of the lowest possible expectation of service, that no McDonald's on the globe should go below. Whatever that point is, as low as it may be ... this McDonald's is far under. For starters, I was not given a knife and fork to go with my hotcakes. Not normally that big of a deal until you realize there are no knives or forks to be had anywhere in the restaurant. I had to wait in line for a fork. And even when I finally got to the front and asked for the knife and fork, the woman working just stared at me like I was out of my mind. She did not understand what I was asking for. Just to be clear, I was speaking plain English. I literally had to pantomime the act of using these implements. Next up, there was a hair in my orange juice. Though I am not sure whatever institution is in charge of orange juice grading would allow this pale yellow water to be called orange juice. Honestly, I should not have bothered replacing the hair juice, as the trash was completely undrinkable. Lukewarm water. The food was also lukewarm. Sandwich muffin was as hard as a hockey puck. 9/2024. Really? No burger on my burger?? See pics. I really stick up for minimum wage being a livable wage but this is not worth $15/hr. Customized to 1 patty, not 0. I bet if that 1 was missing from the minimum wage, it would've been noticed. 😠 still my favorite location, but ruined my lunch today!

📆🍟🍟1/2023 Long overdue update! By far our favorite McDonald's! We use the app which makes it extremely convenient and we will always go out of our way to use this McDonald's bc we are almost never disappointed with our hot fries!! We have on occasion received 1/3 empty container but it happens & we'd rather have a small amount of edible hot fries than a full amount of non edible cold ones!

I paid extra for this large fry? Picture 3 (March 2020). This happened another time as well but I didn't take a pic. Thought it was a fluke. Maybe that's how full they're supposed to be and the flap should be folded down to keep the heat in. Whomp whomp. Pics 1&2 (April 2020): my $10+ meal.
