Based on prior reviews I can see that management or the owner doesn't care if their customers are comfortable while in the cafe...there was only one other couple at a table besides me and the radio was uncomfortably loud...while waiting for my overly salted bacon cheddar quiche which took about 10 minutes I asked if it could be turned down and was told "I'll see" While drinking my barely warm mocha I waited to hear that radio to be turned down but noticed nothing. When the quiche finally arrived I asked again could the music be turned down a d was told "it already has been " I asked if it could be turned down more because there was absolutely no difference in the sound. Nothing changed so I finally left because it was so unpleasant. If u look at other one and two star reviews this seems to be a recurring issue so clearly they don't care. Obviously there are plenty of good reviews so they must be satisfied with their business but neither my family who lives in Warwick nor I will return. PS As the owner has taken time to respond I must comment as to the assertion that the radio would have been off.... that is simply untrue but if it makes you feel better to prevaricate, you go right ahead. I have absolutely no reason to lie about my experience and since volume has been a problem for others perhaps you need to take a look...or a listen. As for the salt, which I enjoy a healthy amount of, it was so salty it...
Read moreThe people here are ALWAYS friendly and inviting. You feel like you're family as soon as you walk in the door. I have yet to try everything however, it all looks fantastic. I am always drawn to the colorful macaroons and the wonderfully delicious looking & wide selection of gelatos. The entire cafe is beautiful, hip & trendy. The menu boards are works of art as well as their display cases, full of what foodies dream of. If you don't get hungry or start drooling whilst looking at them...then there is something wrong & you need to see a doctor! Another really cool feature is watching the Crepe Master/Chef/Food Artist preparing crepes in the middle of the cafe. He uses fresh ingredients such as those bright, juicy strawberries he used today. (I think it was for a menu item named the Victoria?) Looked fantastic! Overall, this is a great cozy place to eat a truly delectable breakfast or lunch or snack. Did I mention their wide variety of coffees & beverages? AND they make cold brew coffee too. Of course these are all top quality...oooo they make shakes too. There is so much to experience here, you just have to check it out for yourselves. Bring friends because you are sure to have a good time. 100% P.S. My friend was home, sick one day and ordered her favorite dish from there, delivered from Doordash! (As long as you get a decent driver to deliver it hot.) Seriously, don't pass this...
Read moreYesterday we came here to get some food, and my sister and I tried crepes here for the first time. Honestly they were the best crepes I've ever had. We got some dessert afterwards and it was delicious. We got three chocolate ganches(which are some of my favorite desserts to get when we come here, and I got The Victoria crepe which was amazing. My sister got The Monte Cristo. The food has a great balance of flavor, and it's prepared quickly and is priced very reasonably. There are lots of options for food, and they all sound very good. There are some very good vegetarian dishes on the menu that I love(The Victoria crepe) and the food is very good overall. The staff is always very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I haven't once felt unwelcome here because the staff do such a great job. I love the way the space is decorated and it makes me want to spend all day inside, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The painting hung up on the wall mixed with the wooden tables and comfortable chairs makes it feel cozy. I would definitely recommend Cafe e Dolci to anyone and everyone, and even if you don't live near there, the drive would...
