live in Marquez, TX and was on my way home on 79. I went to this DQ and following was my experience. Waited 5+ minutes to be able to give my order and it was not busy at all. I was finally responded to after I kept saying hello. My order was wrong. I ordered a #1 meal with mayonnaise and mustard, bacon and cheese meal. There was more mayonnaise than I have ever had on a burger at any DQ I have gone to which include Colorado, Lubbock, Oklahoma, College Station etc.. The second was a single #1 which I requested mayonnaise only for my daughter and it had both mayo and mustard and quite a bit of mayonnaise also. Way too much and it should have had cheese but didn’t. She did not eat it. What a waste of money. I sat in the window for about 10 minutes before being asked to pull up to the trash can and waiting another 10+ minutes. Again not busy at all. By now there was one car behind me maybe 2. Didn’t check. Multiple employees were standing around and it appeared very unprofessional and unclean. By now, I was worried about the quality of my food. I was not offered a receipt. After finally receiving my food, again you would think would be hot but it was not after such a wait, I was afraid to complain and the burger made me feel sick. My daughter did not enjoy hers either. This meal cost me $18 and some change. Not worth it at all. I had also ordered a peanut buster parfait which seemed to be good and no issues with. Also I supersized my fries and drink on the meal. I am very concerned about the quality of food, if they put something in it, the professionalism, very lengthy wait for non hot food and cleanliness of this store. I very strongly recommend an unexpected visit to this store as the manager is obviously not doing their job. I had 3 of my sons work for DQ in Lubbock, TX and one was the Manager at 18. He worked under a gentleman named Logan. You definitely have something to worry about here and I am disappointed I spend my 18 here. I will not be returning. I will go to Centerville DQ instead which is the opposite of this store. I wonder how many other customers you are losing. You may want to visit and investigate and get some new people here before you lose money. I usually only go to management but this one is a corporate issue and I was not about to take any more food or replacement from them. I would very much like my money back...
Read moreIt’s always been slow and the food mediocre at best. Today was the worst though. I pulled up to the drive through speaker and I finally got someone to answer after saying hello several times and after several minutes. There was only 1 maybe 2 cars in the parking lot and nobody else in the drive through except for me so it’s not like they were busy. I almost left until they finally asked me for my order. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich meal (#11) with chicken, cheese, lettuce, and ranch only. He then says give me a minute even after I waited as long as I did before he even asked me for my order. He came back and asked me for my order again which I gave him. He asked me what I wanted to drink in which I ordered a large DP. They were out of DP so I got a coke. The total came to almost $12 which is way too expensive for the food you get even with inflation. I pay and get my drink. He then asked me to pull forward because there was another car in line by this point. I pulled up into the front parking lot and waited an extremely long time yet again. The car behind me got their food so I asked him about mine. He then tells me they had to remake my sandwich and it would be out shortly. I finally get my food which it had been 20 minutes or more since I first pulled in at this point. Read moreThis is by far the worst DQ ever! Entered around 7pm after a softball tournament for our daughter. The restaurant inside is filthy. 1st half the restaurant is blocked off I’m assuming so staff didn’t have to clean that half but doesn’t look like they clean either half. One of the female staff was sitting on the closed off side with her friend eating. The restrooms smelled of sewage. Ceiling tiles had black mold in the dining area. No lids for your cup. The white gravy for the steak fingers was brown from being reheated so many times. The sweet tea was sour tea from not being made fresh. The fries were rock hard from sitting out under a heat lamp. There was more flies inside the store flying around than if you were outside having a picnic. The windows appear to have not been cleaned since the restaurant opened. I placed a call to the “area manager” Tito listed on the receipt as we were throwing all the food away to inform him about the condition of the restaurant. No response so I left a message to return my call. Waited until 1pm the next day and never received a call back so tried again. Guess what no response. Called the customer service number and filed a complaint. We will see how long they take to contact me. Next phone call is to health inspector.
