I haven't been here for about 2.5 years at my birthday family dinner. Staff were not friendly, food was only so-so and management were not accommodating, so I haven't been back in around 2.5 years. I knew that the only thing my kids would eat were the steak fajitas, but I wanted to go home and eat, so we placed a carry-out order. When I got home I noticed that the tortillas and cheese was missing for the fajitas. It's a good thing that I also ordered a cheese quesadilla, or I would have some unhappy, screaming kids on my hands. So I call them about it. Sergio said that fajitas don't come with cheese, but he would give me a $4 credit on my next order for the missing tortillas because that's how much they cost = $1 each. I said that I didn't know when I would go there again to get the credit. And I just sat there in silence waiting for him to actually make it right....but nothing. Sergio said that I could come back and get the tortillas. I told him that it is extremely inconvenient for me to have to go back to get the tortillas with the kids and all. Then he got defensive and said, "cheese doesn't come with fajitas." What conversation was he having? I explained to him that I heard him the first time and that I didn't say anything more about the cheese. So I asked him if he could deliver the missing tortillas (eventhough the kids and I were already done eating). He said okay. Again, I sat there in silence for a little while.....but nothing. Then he says, "This is an inconvenience for me to leave my business." What nerve! This Sergio jerk thinks that his time worth more than my time? And then more silence. And Sergio asks, "What?" Like he knew that I was waiting on him to actually offer something for my inconvenience and their mistake and make things right because giving me $4 off my next order or delivering 4 tortillas to me after I'm done eating only makes my order complete, but it doesn't make up for any inconvenience and me having to hear the kids complaining because the Cazadores staff couldn't do their job correctly. But nothing. Sergio doesn't offer me anything. So I ask, "Since we are finished eating, could you deliver some fried ice cream instead? He said yes, but then I imaged him spitting into the ice cream, so I said nevermind and just give me the credit. So now I have a whopping $4 credit off my next order. Wow! That's so much money I don't know what to do with myself. I think I might be above the poverty line now. That's how friendly and courteous their great management is. Two BIG...
Read moreThis is my second meal with this restaurant. The first time we dined in and the experience was disappointing. Our server was terrible, to the point that the manager sent her home for the night and finished our table on her behalf. The food was fair. Nothing to write home about. However, we were not sure if it was issues from the service or the kitchen. We never completely judge based on a single visit.
I will caveat the rest of the review that it was an order during the statewide restrictions on restaurants.
Ordered on DoorDash. That process went fine. The delivery was fine. The food was again. . . Meh at best. I ordered Chimichanga Supreme. The Chimis were on the small side. The beef inside of them was bland. It was not bad, but not good either. My wife is waiting to eat hers so I cannot comment for her meal. We ordered the queso with sausage. That was pretty good. It did not look like much for the price we paid but ultimately we both were quite satisfied when we finished it.
The real problem I have was that I asked them to hold the Guacamole Salad from my meal. As a thank you for receiving less food, I was charged $1.11 extra for the privilege of the special order. I have never in 47 years been charged extra to leave food in the kitchen. I don't know if that is a quarantine thing or normal for the restaurant. I will never know for sure since we do completely judge a restaurant on the second visit. This was not good enough to...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went 2 times in one week there. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the food was actually pretty good. But the service was horrible. The first night we had a waitress named Amanda. She took our drink orders, and we didn't see her for another 15 minutes. When she finally came back over ,she said "sorry, we were talking about monster high dolls." So you made us sit for 15 minutes so you can talk to your coworkers about dolls? Anyways, she took our order and about 10 minutes later some guy brings out our food. Our waitress didn't check on us for another 15 minutes. By this time, we are out of drinks and just ready to go. We ask for a to go box and our check. Wouldn't you know it, it took almost 20 minutes just to get that. And BTW, no they weren't busy at all. Maybe 4 other customers there, but multiple waitresses. The second time we came, Matt was our waiter. He was too busy attending to the booth behind us because he completely screwed up their order. So he didn't care too much about us. Much like the time before, we had long wait times. But this guy must not know anything about being polite. When he brought over food, drinks, ect, he would sit it down and walk away. I said thank you multiple times and he wouldn't even look our way or even simply say you're welcome.
Although the food is pretty good, the service is horrible and we...
