Honestly one of the worst “fast food” experiences I’ve ever had, and that includes every single McDonald’s I’ve ever been to.
Walked in a little before 10, closing is 11pm per Google and the giant sign on their door, workers were all sitting down eating and all of the food was pulled. When I asked “are you guys closing?” I was told they were just “prepping” for close - mind you I was NOT the only customer in there. I counted 4 in the short time it took to slop together my “burrito”.
Ah yes…the food, as I was hastily asked what I wanted as if I were more of an annoyance than a paying customer, interrupted before having the chance to answer each time, each topping was slapped on that poor burrito as if that tortilla was her worst enemy and she wanted to make sure every part of the process hurt, to the extent of making it to the meat and initially putting more juice than anything into the thing, all with an “oops” to add insult to injury. After the rice and the meat, I was asked “are you going to want anything else in this?” As if it’s a normal thing for most customers to just skip the other half of burrito contents all together. I remained polite and said “yes please: can I get corn, sour cream, and cheese?” Which further annoyed the burrito beater, and caused a brief, awkward absence with the checkout girl rushing me over to pay as not to see what’s happening. It ended up a meat flavored rice, sour cream, and cheese burrito more than anything. (Two photos show two stages)
After she came back, and punched a triple dose of cheese on there, she folded and beat on repeat to make it shut (the counter was disgracefully dirty btw) and TOSSED the battered, blemished, and bruised burrito down the line….at which time the checkout girl to the only napkin that WOULD HAVE been in my bag and cleaned the outside of the wrapper up just so she could put it in the bag. She was a bit condescending at this point as she saw me taking pictures during her coworkers absence, but at least she tried to be nice.
To put it bluntly, you’re obviously open until 11 for a reason, and customer service should be as well. You’re handling people’s food and they’re paying you for it. I suggest the burrito artist take her aggression out elsewhere or find another line of work, because this...
Read more3-9-25 so we wait in line for 25 minutes because they are out of rice and out of chicken and vinnegrete then get our food and go home and my son pulls an 8 inch hair out of his mouth , so I call up and get told that I can drive back up there and waste another 30 minutes of my life for another bowl or I can call the 800 number which is as useless as the person I spoke to , the dining room is filthy and they were letting customers lean up over the glass and point at ingredients so I'mma call the health inspector Monday
9-17-24 so I've ate here three times in the last week this is my local Chipotle and I could eat it everyday if my wife would let me so the last couple times have been really good and then I go in today and I got the guy short spoon in me on everything so I had to say to the point I asked him if he was cut in on profit sharing because he was portioning my food like he was paying for it and then the manager comes over and does the take charge thing and is obviously the one instructing them to skimp on everything , as evidence by whipping my bowl thru so fast I couldn't request a proper amount , which by the way kudos to you you mustachio burrito bowl ninja, so I will stand there and give you 1 ingredient at a time in a sort of burrito bowl Mexican dance off
In all fairness , all the times I have seen him in there he is leading by example whether cutting meat, cooking fajitas , handling the drive thru and helping on the line , and the dining room is clean , so kudos for him as this location had some issues in the past that seem to have been corrected. Leading from the front is a skill rarely seen...
Read morePushy, overbearing, extremely impatient employees, especially the guy working the tortilla station. This is the first face that I dealt with. Admittedly it was busy but I was prodded along like a head of cattle. Tortilla man shouting at me, salsa lady slopping things into my trough, and greedy speedy fingers wringing ready to squeeze the last cent from my order with an offer of chips. All this before I started on bowl number 2. It made the whole experience feel like I was an unwelcome bother. The food was prepared well even though it was thrown into the bowl with wreckless abandon for presentation. I was never asked if I wanted to eat in or takeout. They bagged it up so I looked like the jackass who rails against sales tax and eats my bagged food indignantly at a table. This was a frantic, over-aggressive melee of a restaurant experience. I would have gladly waited an extra 2 to 3 minites to be treated like an adult human being. Ive been to Chipotle several times in the past but i will be passing this one...
