Can I just Say… WOW!! My Little Guy and I came here for a Yelp Party… I Definitely Will be coming back after the Party and I’m so very excited to do so! The atmosphere is pleasant. The vibes are immaculate. The staff is BEYOND friendly, Cordial, and Welcoming. Even of my little Boy…. The staff introduced themselves and taught us a little about the business! Can’t believe it’s so New! Loved hearing about the food, and how fresh it is. I also appreciate how Authentic it is. So authentic, they don’t even have a Microwave! The ingredients are Fresh and super enjoyable! The food is BEYOND FLAVORFUL. The plantain chips are bold and spicy 🌶️ and pair great with the dip. The Queso dip…. Don’t even get me started on that! FANTABULOUS!! And I LOVED the taste! The Wings… LOVE!!! So sweet, and Tasty!! 😋 The Taste is Melt in your Mouth! I really liked the Chicken Curry Stuffed Empanadas! The spice was PERFECT and they go down so easy!! ESPECIALLY when paired a Freezy drink! 🍹 I could not have any alcoholic beverages because I’m Breastfeeding. (Plus I don’t drink lol) But get this… They have NON-ALCOHOLIC FREEZY DRINKS!! I LOVED THAT!! I got my Own “Kokocolada”!! SO FLAVORFUL, and DELICIOUS! I could drink those by the gallon!! It wasn’t like your “typical watery slushie.” This was well blended and flavorful and NEVER got watery throughout the course of me drinking it. I’m so very happy with the attentiveness of the staff and how inviting they were! The Live music was great! He played a lot of well known hits, which added to the Relaxing atmosphere! First time here and really enjoyed almost everything about it. The surrounding area is very cute. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. The Kokomo is on the smaller side you don’t feel squished, there is still space to move and breathe. It feels very bright and open. I sat at the bar and first ordered the frozen flight. I don’t remember the names of the 4 drinks I chose but all 4 were delicious. I decided I should probably order food too so after much debating I went with the burger. Everything looked really good. I wanted to try the Caribbean patties, the nachos, a salad or a bowl but idk I’m a burger girl so usually go with a burger. For my side I chose the macaroni salad. It was fairly busy while I was there but the food came out in a fair amount of time. The amount of macaroni salad on my plate was ridiculous to the point that I wondered if they were trying to get rid of it. It said it was also supposed to come with chips, which it did not, so I thought maybe they gave me extra because they were out of chips. The burger was ok. Nothing special or memorable. The sauce they put on it was a little too spicy for me, but I’m a baby when it comes to spice. The macaroni salad tasted bitter and sour. I took two bites and stopped eating it because it was pretty bad and didn’t taste right. About an hour later I started feeling sick and did end up throwing up. I had a lot of food still left over so boxed it up and took it home. I wondered if maybe I got sick because I got over heated (it was a bit hot inside the restaurant) or who knows what else. So the next day I took a bite of the macaroni salad to try it again. Again it was gross and bitter and sour and about 30-40 min later my stomach was upset. Other than that my experience here was great. The service was perfect. The bartender was attentive without being overbearing. I would definitely come back here to try out other menu items. Hear me out.. I wouldn’t say this is the best food I’ve ever had.. but they were good and when I’m back in the area I will definitely be eating here again and this is why:

I love what the business stands for. They advertise that their ingredients are wholesome, clean, & very fresh. They also stay away from seed oils using only avocado or olive oil.

Everything we ordered can attest to that statement. All of the ingredients were very fresh and you could tell you were eating clean ingredients (if that makes sense).

The restaurant proves that “clean eating” doesn’t have to be “boring.” You’re allowed to have food that is lightly fried while still being good for you.

The key largo salad dressing could have been a touch sweeter- it was very tart but still very good.

The tacos were good all around and the rice was cooked and seasoned very well.

The Isla bowl with Bermuda cod was very full as you can see from the pic. My only complaint is that the fish was small (seems bigger in the picture) and it was more breading than fish. I also just realized looking at the menu that it should have came with sauce on the side but mine didn’t. Regardless it was good but that sauce would have been nice because it was a little dry.

The chips were complimentary and they were absolutely delicious.
