The Double Scoop — Restaurant in Franklin

Me and my 2 friends decided to come back to our hometown simply for Double Scoop. We drove 30 minutes for ice cream. The ice cream was great, and the price was okay, but the customer service was outrageous. I told the young man that I wanted 2 orders of 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream on a cake cone. He scooped vanilla ice cream. I told him that I asked for chocolate. And then he proceeded to almost argue with me that I said vanilla. Afterwards, he made a couple nasty faces and angrily threw away the scoop of vanilla and the cone. Which he should’ve just put the scoop of vanilla back or at least used the same cone, but I guess he just wanted to make a scene. On top of that, he put the giant scoop of ice cream on top of the cone, didn’t even fill the cone in. Because of this, my 3yo daughter’s ice cream fell off her cone. Overall, the price that I paid wasn’t worth the customer...

Stopped in Franklin, GA and found this awesome little shop where I had an amazing customized banana split that was a double scoop but was ENORMOUS for about the same price as a smaller Dairy Queen traditional banana split. Great service and a gem of a find in Georgia. Don't pass this ice cream, coffee & donuts shop if you're in Franklin. I won't need to eat again until tomorrow after that filling & delicious banana split! (But still grabbed a extra full custard filled donut to take home!) I love this place the employees are kind, patient, and helpful. Jade is super nice and usually smiling. Lots of choices and have all been delish the ones I've tried so far. All I ask is please get some Orange Creamsicle if ya can🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 Also cant wait to try their Banana Split😋 . P. S. We'll still come there if ya dont get it.
