TOROS TACOS+TEQUILA — Restaurant in Franklinton

We have been coming to this place since they opened. The staff is amazing and always looking out for their patrons. So we naturally knew when it came to our BIG DAY we wanted them to cater for us.

We had the pleasure of having Toro's Tacos & Tequila cater our wedding on November 25th, and I can't express enough how amazing everything was! From the food to the service, everything was top-notch. The food was freshly made and absolutely delicious—our guests couldn't stop raving about it. The bartenders were fantastic as well, and they really nailed it with the drinks. The margaritas, in particular, were the absolute favorite! The girls behind the bar were friendly, skilled, and made every drink to perfection. If you're looking for outstanding Mexican food and incredible service, look no further— TOROS is the best!

I’ve been looking forward to this place for awhile now because there Oxford location is great. The food is good and the staff was friendly. I was hoping to make this my regular spot as I love Mexican food. My problem is everything is separate unlike the Oxford location. Nothing comes with sides rice beans etc. You have to pay for chips and salsa which is unheard of at Mexican restaurants except Chipotle same with rice and beans. By the time you buy a burrito, chips and salsa, rice and beans and a drink you looking at about $30 a person. There other location gives free chips and salsa but not this one. I will still go occasionally but I can’t justify the price when I can get all that and more for about $20 somewhere else and is just as good. The inside is small but has a nice patio. I’m sorry but chips and salsa should be free as they cost practically nothing to make. With inflation out of control and gas prices through the roof I believe my main place will have to be elsewhere. If money is no object for you you should go the food is good but not necessarily better than anywhere else. I wish them the best and maybe this will change...

Ordered two Steak Street Tacos. Every single Mexican taco truck I've ever been to has some charred pieces of steak that you can tell we're obviously just on a very hot grill. Not these tacos. It tasted like it had been soaked in water and stewing for hours. Large chewy pieces, zero charred or crispy pieces, and not finely chopped at all. After asking the lady who brought the tacos to the table....she verbally sighed loud enough for everyone around to hear and said, "Oh my goddd." Like it was my fault I didn't enjoy what I ordered? I'm not sure how this place has 4.7 stars with customer service like that. Might as well say Stewed Steak Tacos. What a turn-off overall. Was expecting a much more pleasant experience. I will not be back.
