We went on a Sunday of a Memorial Day weekend. Iâve heard great things about the winery but was a little disappointed with the service.
We waited at the bar to do the tasting for about 10 minutes. My friend was told by one of 3 bartenders that sheâd be with a wine club member so itâd be 20+ minutes before sheâd get to him. I then walked to the other side of the bar with my husband to another bartender. A small spot big enough for me and my husband to squeeze into finally opened up and we stood there for like 8 minutes or so. Then the couple next to us left and when we spread out, we were first asked âAre you the group of 5?â We were a group of 5 and I waved our friends over as she was asking. Then we were told there was a reservation coming in for a group of 5 and they needed our standing location to service them. I shared that weâve been waiting awhile and I was a little disappointed. After what felt like stalling, she finally served us. It seemed like an anxiety inducing moment for the bartender too.
But there desperately needs to be a better organizational system for guests vs tours/ reservations. Itâs currently just a âwalk upâ system with no line for walk-in guests.
Alternatively, they could have smaller cups for the wine to provide an entire flight at once. Also, if the bartender had just started servicing us the moment we walked up to the small spot, we couldâve been in and out so quickly.
Overall, I do not recommend my experience. If youâre going here, you likely need to come when itâs not as busy. To me, the wine wasnât worth the disappointing service. It doesnât seem like itâs the bartenders fault but rather a fault in their system...
Read moreWas told this would be the most fun winery on our tour. Birthday weekend, four girls having a fun weekend; we went on Sunday June 12th around 2:00. It was disappointing to say the least. We were greeted by a very sweet man but once he opened the door for us, it went downhill from there. Our server, Ben, was not a happy camper, was rude, told us nothing about the wines, just had no social interaction at all. It was so uncomfortable for us; especially after we had so much fun at Grape Creek Winery and Becker Winery. Our expectations were to continue this fun; but we could not leave fast enough. The wines were tasty, the peach wine was so good, but he made no attempt to show us a bottle to purchase, really to tell us anything. Ben basically poured and turned away to fumble with something behind him. Their logo is cute, we bought t-shirts, but least favorite tasting. Need to hire staff that are happy to interact with patrons who are paying $$$ to enjoy your product. Went to Baron's Creek Vineyard after that and they were fantastic, loved treating us like they were happy we were there. What a difference. Skip this winery would be my advice. There are some really great ones on the tour and they make you want to join their wine club and be a part of the fun. Not this one,...
Read moreIt is a very chill place. Not as fancy as many of the other wineryâs. We dislike dry wine, but fat ass has dry or sweet wine tasting options. The wines you get with the tastings are set, so you canât pick which ones you want to try. Nina was amazing and fun. She did have a group buying a ton of bottles and signing up for the wine club but was still attentive to us. They had a food truck outside with tacos and quesadillas. We ended up taking a bottle of the mimosa home. They have so many fun flavors including a coffee flavored wine . They will let you taste a splash of the wines they have at the bars although they donât have ALL the flavors. The DJ was playing a mix of country, Latin, and rap which felt like we were at a club. They also have a bunch of cute and funny shirts, hats, and cups for sale. Weâll for...
