Fredericksburg Fudge — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

Sadly, I didn’t eat it as I bought it as a gift for my daughter who has been requesting fudge for several months now but not been anywhere where she could obtain some. This store is neat as a pin and clean as a whistle. They sell numerous homemade chocolate candies as well as the fudge in many, many, flavors. My daughter had requested chocolate, and peanut butter. I ended up purchasing a chocolate peanut butter swirl, peanut butter alone, and a dark chocolate variety for her. Everything is sold by weight. It was a little more expensive than I expected but according to my daughter the flavor was absolutely delicious, creamy, smooth, not grainy whatsoever!!! In this case you definitely get what you paid for!! The pleasant woman who waited on me was very nice. She was the owners sister. There was a woman in the back as well making fudge-I could see her smiling and who wouldn’t be????? They also have machines for soft serve ice cream and you can order a root beer float or a hot fudge sundae! I will definitely return. The home turned into business sits barely a block off (290) Main street. There is a sign for Fredericksburg Fudge that sits up in the air above most everything else where you turn so it was easy to spot. According to the owner the sign was grandfathered in as currently anything of that height is not acceptable. I will say the sign was not offensive whatsoever it was a reasonable size not any kind of billboard and very neatly made with just the name Fredericksburg Fudge and an arrow pointing down the street. If you’re craving delicious home made chocolate or even just a delicious hot fudge sundae don’t hesitate to seek out this cute, homey Location!!!
