We had a late lunch at Aquaholic Beach Grill and Bar, and it was definitely an interesting experience! At first glance, it’s little more than a shack on the beach, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Our server, Rebel, was an absolute pleasure and truly made the visit worth it. There are only about eight barstools, so seating is very limited. The food, however, was delicious—I had the curry chicken, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and my husband had the salmon, which was also very good. The cooking is done by Ruby, who seems like one of those local experts who knows how to make authentic, flavorful dishes.

Mine was good, but hers was great! The beans and rice had so much more flavourful than the expensive places we had eaten. And they gave a good amount of rice to fill you up! There is not much to it as a beachside bar, but we love hole in the wall type places that are more worried about how the food tastes than how glamorous the building looks!Would definitely...
   Read moreI stopped here for a snack after walking the city edge and before I went back to the boat to do a tour. They had some delicious pain killer drinks and they have some mouthwatering empanadas the chicken had so much flavor , the beef one was savory , and the bacalao (fish one) was absolutely the perfect trio to hit the spot.
It’s the smaller spot along the beach which was nice to avoid all the crowded folks...
