Next Up Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Freeburg

If you want to watch the game this is a great place to be. Service is always friendly. Food is pretty good bar food. Wish there were a few more high tables. We often go with a large group and that can be difficult if you're not there early enough for tables. But that says good things as its a busy place.

I will say it seems several families think it is an indoor recess setting letting their kids run wild. I've never been to any other restaurant where parents think it's ok to let kids run between tables, up and down stairs, toss food around etc. While the staff has tried to control this (and there is an under 21 curfew) some parents think they can let their kids do whatever they want. I ordered to go. Had to tell the girl my order 3 times. Got the sweet heat burger, fries and asked for small cheese dipping sauce. She should of told me it'd be extra bcuz it was cup size. 7.99. When I inquired about it all she said was Oh. The burger was ok and the fries were soggy when I got home. Maybe a separate container next time. Might give it one more chance...

Our waiter Ethan wasn't bad he seemed new. He was very polite and nice. We ordered the pulled pork nachos. Being our favorite we were excited to try them. To our disappointment they weren't that great. The pulled pork was shredded but clumped together with not much flavor. Will come back but maybe next...
