Corner Pocket — Restaurant in Fremont

I was here on 4th of July and it was great. Not too crowded. You can smoke, drink, play pool, and even grab a bite to eat. Zane was bartending and he was new but he balanced serving and the kitchen well, he's a one man show. He even treats old drunken cowboys like family. The burger took a while, but I ordered it early, and when I got it it was worth the wait. No complaints. This place is open later than most other bars in the area. I normally only drink alone on holidays so I was glad they were here for me. I even had a chance to sink an 8 ball in the corner pocket FTW. It wasn't too busy on a holiday so it was nice and quiet. I would say it's a great place for singles and small groups to chill while everyone else is out for an event. Sunday, 05-05-19, 4:30 p.m. Stopped in for a beer, bartender was busy in the kitchen, waited 10 minutes for her to come out, and she took some food to a table. On her way back to the kitchen, I asked for a beer, and she told me I would have to wait till she was done cooking all these other people's food for me to get a beer. What stupidity.... I wonder how much money she costs the owner of this bar. I stopped in to see if it was a good stop for a charity poker run I put on. We average 120 bikes. We obviously won't be...

Only left one star, because you can't choose none. Bar tender took forever. The juke box was on free play, would only play "Aqua". No warning that it would eat your money. Pop machine wasn't right, mixed drinks and pop were bad. Pull tab machine was broken. Left before we could get served a second drink. I've been here before and always enjoyed it, what happened? Tipped half the bill, but still...
