The first time I got carry out from here was in the winter time, close to Christmas, in the evening. All the lights looked so cozy and everyone inside was talking and laughing. Something about it was so nostalgic and I think of it every time I go there now. We loved our little date night in downtown Fremont, Indiana. We ate dinner at What the Fork, where I got their daily special of green curry. It was so good, I wish I could've eaten more of it, but it filled me up fast. My husband got the shrimp tacos. We also split a lemon drop which I didn't think was all that great, but he liked it. We also split bruschetta, which was soggy. We finished off the night by walking across the street and getting some soft serve ice cream! #fremontindiana #foodiefinds #resturantreview #foodietiktok #smallcreator

So tonight I had a chance to finally check out What the Fork Local Eatery and must I say I was BEYOND HIGHLY IMPRESSED!🤯🤩🤤 I Started off with a Ceaser salad while my mother had a spinach salad. I must say their Ceaser dressing has to be THE BEST CEASER DRESSING I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Which I had a client tell me their ceaser salads are amazing so I had to find out. After the apps We ordered adult beverages which i had the “Tequila Old Fashioned which is made with Casamigos Reposado, chocolate bitters, brown sugar cube, Luxardo cherr ange peel” and let me say IT WAS HEAT and Made with perfection. My mother on the other hand ordered a “Naughty Nut which is Plantation pineapple rum, banana coconut simply syrup, & pineapple juice” and she LOVED her drink as well. For the main course I ordered their daily special “Blackened Chilean Seabass tacos” and let me tell ya the flavor profiles were OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The Perfectly seasoned Seabass was BREATH TAKING!(Which I was told they fly in their seafood FRESH) the Fish with Mango, Slaw, Peppers were the BEST compliments to the fish tacos. HANDS DOWN BEST FISH TACOS I EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE! My mother had ordered “Coconut shrimp atop coconut risotto” and she was also VERY highly impressed! Just when I felt I couldn’t be more mind blown by my wonderful experience our amazing server asked if we’d like any of their specialty desserts and IF YOU KNOW ME…👀 So we tried their “White Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake.” And OH MY GAHHH DAYUUM!!! Hands down 10/10 experience! Wonderful food, Great service, so much so I also tipped the cook which I didn’t know was the Owner but I had to let her know she gave me an experience I didn’t know I needed in my life.

Didn’t get a chance to taste the food. Worst Hostess wait service we have ever received (and we lived in NYC for 5 years and waits can be rough). We arrived at 5:55pm asked the Hostess how long the wait was for a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids under 6 years old). She told is that we were third on the list and it should not take too long. We waited patiently and then told us a table was available next after about 30 minutes. The table was cleaned and then she sat another party. When I asked what happened she said she made a mistake and that the party was ahead of us. I expressed understanding while we patiently waited. Then we proceeded to watch after 6 parties of 4 or greater were seated at tables that were right next to each other over the next 15 minutes. She did not ask if we wanted to split up or if we were ok if they put 2 tables together for us to sit. It was so bad that an older couple at a table top for 4 (next to where we were standing) offered to give us their table for our kids in the middle of their meal!!!! Our kids made no trouble and were very well behaved this whole time but were getting hangry. The Hostess said that the table in front of us was almost done and we would be seated soon. 20 minutes later their dessert came out. An hour went by and another table of 5 was seated right next to yet again another open table of 4. We never got to even taste the food but if the food is any indication of the way they treat service I would and will never...

First and only visit. Waited an hour and a half for food. My husband ordered his burger well done. They brought it out and it was very pink inside not to mention it was the wrong type burger and barely warm. He sent it back, they brought out a new one quickly, but still not well done. It was done more than the first one but still pink. By this time he's so hungry he ate it. It was a smash burger and he said it was terrible. I had a gyro. Idk what kind of mystery meat it was but it didn't appear or taste like gyro meat. It looked like a hamburger patty cut into thick slices but didn't really taste like hamburger. It was not like typical shaved gyro meat and it was barely warm. Not very good but I was also very hungry by this time so I ate it. I wouldn't have minded the wait so much, if the food had been good, but it wasn't. The lemonade was tasty. Service was pleasant. I have to believe it was an off day with all the great reviews. We were...
