We went through drive-thru, the person who greeted us at the speaker was friendly and able to answer all questions .
We ordered the chicken strip meal with four sides and biscuits, and while I'm used to getting chicken, that's a little bit darker and crispier with the coating, the bonus tenders were fine .
While I was used to more seasoning and crunch, the chicken boneless tenders were fine, would have liked maybe a little more flavor, garlic or onion powder?
The biscuits were hot and fresh, the sides were large and tasty and the order was large and completed in less than a couple of minutes .
We did order 16 pieces of chicken with the meal and there were neither sides or napkins placed in the bag, however, we did ask for sauces and they gave us ample sauce containers for our meal.
Overall, we've been here half a dozen times in 10 years and they are always very quick and drive through as well as friendly .
The last time I went inside was just over a year ago and the dining area/ lobby area had lots of extra inventory, but it didn't detract from our dining experience. Overall, whether you go inside or out, they are very quick and friendly and...
Read moreSmiles, friendliness, and a sense of community is what I experience when I find myself inside the walls of Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken.
As long as I can remember, I've always enjoyed a meal from this establishment. The chicken is always succulent, the pot pies are tasty, and I could swim in a pool of their coleslaw (do not try that at home, trust me ... ). But that's not all.
I never need to wait on an order and I do not feel second rate when I walk into the restaurant. The manager goes as far as to always offer me a drink when the temperatures are high. In fact, I always say, "Sure! If you are offering, I'll take a water", in which the manager responds, "Are you sure? Your choice, you can have whatever you'd like [paraphrased]".
The sense of community and watching out for your fellow citizens gives me goosebumps. Which is why everytime I receive an order for Lee's, I either say, "Yes!", or smile.
Whether you are a local or an out-of-towner, I highly recommend supporting this wonderful business and the workers who make it all happen; you will not be disappointed.
I give this establishment a...
Read moreHaving grown up in Fremont and having worked at this establishment as a teenager, I must express my profound disappointment with its current state. The staff's demeanor has shifted drastically, now exhibiting rudeness and unfriendliness. Once a place I longed for to reconnect with home, Lee's in Fremont no longer holds that sentiment for me.
I caution against patronizing Lee's in Fremont. Even after placing substantial orders exceeding 100 pieces of chicken in the past, I was taken aback when asked to pay upfront, with an additional charge of $100 compared to the rates at Tiffin Lee's.
Coming from a hometown brimming with warmth and hospitality, I struggle to fathom where Larry found this disheartening staff. If you find yourself having a good day, I advise against shopping here. And if your day is already challenging, steer clear of this...
