What a cute little diner! We were on our way home and needed some food, and we came across this place.

First impressions. Decent parking in lot or street front. When you walk in, the diner is small but has decent seating. Our waiteress could have been nicer as she just threw things at us. Menus, silverware, etc. I understand that they were busy. However, she could have been more personalble.

The food was decent. My husbands gravy to me looked 'off', but it tasted good. I was disappointed my eggs came on top of my corned beef. I really wish they would have put them on the side, but that is just my preference.

We didn't use th restroom as this place is small and the restrooms I would have had to ask people to move so we could get into it ad they have a table sitting right in from of the door. I wasn't about to h a e people move. Over...

This has to be Fremont’s best kept secret cozy little diner close to the river with food beyond compare. My wife and I searched for breakfast in Fremont and this diner popped up with a 4.6 out of 5. We thought what the heck, let’s give it a try. While we reviewed the menu, we had a cup of excellent coffee, served by a very friendly and nice waitress, who kept our cups full of coffee throughout our meal! My wife order eggs and sausage and I ordered eggs and bacon. Both of us had rye toast and coffee, we split an order of home fries. The food took me back to my Grandparents farm breakfast. The diner had an old town feel and everyone was friendly, even the customers. We would drive out of our way to eat there and we plan on it in the next week or two, to try the lunch menu. The only bad thing about this diner, it’s not...

Stopped in for a bite on my way to a funeral. I haven't been here in probably 30 years. I tried to order the same thing I ordered before. A whitey burger with everything and an order of home fries. Turns out it's not called a whitey burger anymore. The waitress, cook, my sister and I shared a laugh over that. I was a little surprised it wasn't Mark cooking. Anyway we figured out it was a deluxe cheeseburger I wanted. My sister got the same thing. Surprisingly she had never been there even though we grew up in fremont. Food really took me down memory lane. It was excellent. Service was great. Young guy cooking did Fantastic. I'll definitely be back now that I've moved back to the area. If your in the area be sure to stop in. Bring an appetite and cash. They don't do small and they don't take credit or debit. They do gave...

We were passing through and we're looking for a place to eat lunch, boy we were glad to stumble upon Whitey's!!! Don't come here with no sissy appetite. My goodness, if you leave hungry that's on you. We both got bacon cheese burgers. I'm 100% certain i died and went to bacon cheese burger heaven. Literally one of the best burgers. It has to be a pound of fresh ground beef cooked to perfection on a flat top. The bacon... 3 of the most tasty and thick pieces of bacon I have ever encountered. I will be having dreams of this burger for the rest of my days, and I'm pretty sure no other burger will live up to it, and will have to come back to Whitey's. I am completely ok with that! The joint was clean and the staff were amazingly friendly. I would recommend this establishment to anyone hands down.
