Angkor Restaurant — Restaurant in Fresno

As Cambodian, I am at a predicament about writing a bad review about Cambodian restaurant. But this one is an exception as it is has the worse customer service I ever experienced when eating out. First, the food was terrible, noodles soup was bland and fried rices was real salty. Second, we asked for a separate check prior to ordering for my party of 3. But when the check came, there was a couple of entrees on the check that we did ordered or received. When questioned about the item, she said it was for the person of another party. Then there was a second entree and claimed it a service fee (tip). When factoring out the tip compared to the total bill, it's like 45%. Tips should be based on the quality of the foods and services. My husband and I always come here but we are never going to again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER from the owner of this restaurant. She made a mistake on our food and she tried to solve it by defending herself only and a pathetic 3 dollar refund! The son of the restraunt told us to go back the next day and that they would remake the food but when upon arrival, I met with the mom(the owner) and she refused to make the food. FUNNY THING, she was the one who made the mistake and she did not apologize for it but try to defend herself and also said it was only a few dollar difference. The restaurant was ordinary--like a typical cafe--not fancy but ok. Food in the menu looked good. But the prices that were listed looked double or triple what seemed reasonable and the drinks had no prices listed. So we excused ourselves and let the waitress know we decided not to order. The prices they charged would be something one might expect at a very fancy, exclusive restaurant rather than a cafe next to a barber shop and hookah lounge.
