On the Menu on the Wall it says "Supreme Burrito" and boy did they nail this name lol. After saying this, I LOVE their tacos and especially the burritos.
In August 2016, the mobile El Premio Mayor won the Taco Truck Throwdown to beat out 22 other taco trucks in both the judges’ and people’s choice competitions at the annual Chukchansi Park in downtown Fresno. The event, which drew a record-breaking crowd of nearly 17,000 people. I have heard they have won the last three years, but Im not positive of this.
The Food Network star and foodie Alton Brown went to El Premio Mayor and enjoyed Fresno’s Best tacos and put El Premio Mayor on the National Map as the place for fantastic tacos.
El Premio Mayor's owner Belén Ramírez, owns two El Premio Mayor brick-and-mortar restaurants and one food truck. She first started the business nearly 20 years ago. In a town filled with tons of Taquerias, this one stands out from all the rest.
Its not the cleanest of Taquerias, but if you're willing to over look this short-coming, then you're in for a treat. This is the real deal tacos and burritos.
The best part is the prices and its only $1.75 for a well filled taco to $6.50 for a delicious burrito.
This location is also best for parking as it has plenty of parking even at lunch time.
My Bottom line....Will I go back? Hell ya as this is the BOMB, I just hope you aint in front of me...

Read moreDate: 4-5-22 Time: 1:15 I called ahead for a pick up order and waited a good amount of time ahead to ensure picking up would be easier. Once I get to the location, the lady in the front taking orders, with the blonde streaks in her hair and bangs, was taking her sweet time on the phone and had 2 customers walk out for having waited so long. I was in the store for 14 minutes and she was still on the phone.
Food is amazing none the less and the cooks in the back do an excellent job. I will always go back for food, but only for pick up order. Definitely not waiting in line for 14 minutes to stare at a emotionless face. Lady looks like she really does not...
