Edited: I emailed the store and heard back from Oscar. He said that this is the first time this has ever happened - That's impossible but it might be the first time someone complained. He said that the cakes are always packaged with the other cookies and he offered a free butter cake when I come back. Clearly he missed the point that the cream had melted on the other cookies making some of them pretty gross. Photo attached, now, of the order we got to share with company lastnight. No need for a free butter cake as we won't be returning to this particular location. The employee and Oscar missed the mark for us.
We ordered via the app and I sent my son to pick our order up. The worker couldn't find an order under my name so they had my son call me to see if I was sure I ordered from the Sunnyside location. Yes, I was sure. So I sent screenshots of the order. Eventually they thought to look under my phone number and found it. This was only an inconvenience but it seems logical to look under the phone number before you question the customer. What was disappointing about the purchase/visit is they put the butter cake which has been heavily advertised and is served warm in the box with the 5 cookies. It was 100* outside so when my son got home with the order (we only live a mile away) the scoop of cream they put on top of the cake had melted and and gotten on some of the other cookies. It was pretty gross and I'm still trying to understand why the cake wasn't boxed separately. Seems like common...

The owners were a mess and never had answers to anything communication was horrible. They would over schedule and the staff wouldnāt even fit in the kitchen sometimes. They did not give us the legal amount of breaks we deserved which is 2 for 6+ hour shifts (one before lunch) (one 2 hours before shift ends). They only let us take 1 break with a 30 minute lunch. Then they suddenly stopped scheduling about half the staff. They never told them why or gave a warning. Everytime someone would ask what was going on in the work group chat they would Simply ignore them. Until they finally let half the staff go and emailed them termination letters. Then a few weeks after they did that they stopped scheduling basically what was left of the staff. With no warning again & still making them think they had a job with responses like āweāre doing everything we can to accommodate to everyoneā . When that in fact was not true. Iām pretty sure they got rid of everyone they hired and now only family works there. Do not feed into this locations business theyāre...

Today is enough and enough , i was at the store to grab the order and the order was ready , he looked at the screen and come to another employee, who is assisting the customer , and i know that he was talking about me , Not to give me the order . i wait there upto 10 minutes for $6.
