My experience was horrible. As a black woman, I felt completed discriminated due to the poor customer service, lack of respect and compromise. I was initially going to Starbucks anyway but the watermelon weekend $5 breeze deal caught my attention while I was waiting in Starbucks drive thru. So I get out of the Starbucks line, go in Jamba and immediately asked about the $5 weekend deal. Signs says itâs with membership and there was also a sign inside that says you can get 50% off your smoothie for signing up. So what I do? I sign up. I wasnât even looking to get both deals at the same time at all as I really just wanted the $5 deal for being a member. So then I proceed to complete my order, gave the sales clerk (ABI) my number so she can locate me as a member and she did!!! However I noticed I still wasnât getting my Watermelon Beeeze for $5 as advertised when she gave me the total.
This young lady tells me sometimes the app gives you the deal and sometimes it doesnât but there isnât anything I can doâŠWHAT? I say okay what about 50% for sign up thatâs advertised right here by your register (picture attached). She says âyea I donât know but nothing I can do!!â WHAT? I kept my cool asked for the manager, she says she (ABI) is the manager. So I ask what was the point of me signing up if Iâm not getting anything as ADVERTISED! She says Iâm not sure! So NONCHALANT & COLD with her words! I say Iâm not accepting that there has to be something you can do! She says, âlet me go call my manager and see what I can do with an attitude!â She had me standing in that lil dirty place for 10 minutes before she comes back making my smoothie $5 as advertised!
Now this other young lady (ALICIA) hands me my order which was an AĂAĂ primo bowl and Watermelon Breeze smoothie. I ask for a spoon, Alicia says, âwe donât have anyââŠ.I ask, âso how am I suppose to eat my açaĂ bowl?â She says I donât know but we donât have spoons and walked off. TERRIBLE! There was ONE young lady named Priscilla who walked up to me and said go next door, Starbucks will be able to give you one! NOW she was actually pleasant but those other two NEED TO QUIT CUSTOMER SERVICE QUICK because I was completely treated poorly and I will never visit this location again!! Starbucks...
   Read moreSECOND UPDATE: We just went in, and there was an overwhelmingly horrible smell. It was like burnt rubber or something. We had to turn around and walk out. Not only do I not want whatever that is in my lungs, I certainly don't want it in my food.
UPDATE: This location has really stepped up, and is now my favorite part of my routine. Looks like they renovated. Every staff member is super friendly, quick, and makes quality smoothies! My favorites right now are the acai super antioxidant and the impossible handwich. The app is now working very smoothly in store with the qr code.

Paid $7 for a cup of "fresh squeezed orange juice" but instead got a $7 dollar cup of orange juice from a cheap carton from the dollar store, probably. To clarify I have absolutely no problem w/the dollar store (I actually shop there) and I don't care about the amount of money I spent, I just want to be given what I paid for. If I wanted orange juice from a carton I could've done it at home or go buy 1 at the supermarket, but if I paid for fresh squeezed then I'd expect fresh squeezed.
