Desi Kitchen — Restaurant in Fresno

Now, I'm not very familiar with Indian food, had it only a handful of times before but never tried any sort of cury. I got two combo plates with the fish and chips. The rice was quite good, 3 out of the 4 curries we had were amazing, granted it's my first time trying it but I'm definitely a fan. The one curry I didn't really care for was the goat one, had a bit too many bones for my liking. Like I said I know next to nothing about curry but I'm sure bones aren't a ingredient/spice.

The quantity of curry was slightly lacking too, the pic we saw showed a decent amount for what we ordered but this could be an error on my part. I read a review before ordering saying the butter chicken was to spicy when requested to be non spicy... I have a hard time feeling that this compliant can be validated. It's really not that spicy, even my girlfriend who tried it who is sensitive to spice said it wasn't spicy for her.

All in all I'm sure to be ordering from here again, although I might switch things up but to get more of the curry vs rice ratio, I would highly recommend supporting local...

I was hesitant to try this place from the Google reviews but boy am I glad I did. The restaurant smells good all the way out the door, which led me in. I forgot what the name of the dish is, but I got these chicken kabobs, garlic naan, chicken Tikka Masada, and a mango Lassi for my girlfriend. Everything was really good and my girlfriend said the mango Lassi was the best she's had in town. Usually when we are in LA, we go to Little India in Artesia so we had high expectations. I randomly found this restaurant while in the area. The restaurant was rather small so I ordered to-go. The person taking my order was very polite, friendly, and professional. I always order samosas when I go to an Indian restaurant so I gave theirs a try. They were delicious. So flavorful. I can eat a tray of those samosas. I also got some garlic naan, also delicious.
