First and last time visiting El Bajío.
We walked in and the place was nearly empty only a couple of tables occupied. At first, things seemed okay: chips, salsa, and drinks arrived quickly. But once a large group of men came in, the waitress completely shifted her focus to them.
She kept checking on their table constantly while ignoring ours. We were just two people, and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all so there was no excuse. I waited over 15 minutes just to get a chance to ask for water, and by then I was already too irritated to even bother. We had asked for the check before the other table, yet she prioritized them again and brought theirs first.
The food (I had the mixed fajitas with rice and beans) was average — maybe a 3 out of 5. And if the food isn’t great, at least good service can make up for it… but that wasn’t the case here.

Read moreI havent ate here in years but El Bajio is the "bombay"... Flavor town in ur mouth from all the delicious food they present. This restaurant roots come from the same family that used to have a successful restaurant downtown where the federal courthouse is at there used to be this one mexican restaurant that everbody and their babys dad were there... Remember??? Mama Luz was the one even the lawyers would be there. I was young but every so often when my grandparents would come from lenier ca...we would eat there and it was like a fiesta with different cultures all in one spot and way back in 2002-2004 its been along time 😔🤨 but El Bajio has the same flare but more vibrant because its a smaller building but its more homier comfortable and like family. I chsllange anybody who hasnt eatin here to not over think it but enjoy the experience of quality Mexican food and good vibes. Andele. Ati.... lol.😆 ...
Read moreIt was a real treat to eat at El Bajio tonight. The employees made sure that we had everything we wanted and were quick to greet us, take our orders, serve us, and refill our drinks. I ordered a combination platter with a chile relleno, shredded chicken taco, Spanish rice, and refried beans. The portions were generous and flavorful. El Bajio has indoor and outdoor patio seating available. Whether you eat eat inside the restaurant or outside on the patio, eating at El Bajio's is an...
