After waiting for 15 minutes (at least) for someone to take our drink order, another 10 minutes to take our food order, then 25-30 minutes to wait for food to come out, the waiter didn't tell me how hot the plate was and I burned my fingers. Since the plate was sat on the side of the table. There were MAYBE 3 other tables to be serviced at the time. Let's be real here, it doesn't take 30 minutes to grab lettuce out of a bag and present a "salad" and you're not cooking everything fresh, you're reheating it. We decided on this place because it shouldn't take long for a quick lunch, but by the time the food came we asked for boxes to take home. Spoke to a "manager" that was a joke. Asked him for our check and he never came back. We went to the counter to pay and our waiter and the "hostess" acted like a deer in headlights, seemed like maybe they were having a conversation about us. Needless to say I work too hard for my money to give it to a business that obviously doesn't care about...
Read moreAtmosphere was excellent. This location is a really neat experience to dine at, though there were several very important things that weigh into our experience.
We dined in for valentine's day, which was expected to be very busy, but this location was able to get us in immediately. We were seated and immediately forgotten about as others were seated around us and orders were taken even before we had our drink order taken or bread brought to the table. It took us having to flag down our waitress to get any attention. When we finally had received our food, they forgot to serve me any pasta with my dish, which we had to ask the manager for to go at the end of the meal. We were not tended to, greeted or thanked as we left the restaurant, even by the 3 to 4 waitresses standing at the counter in the front. In short, the food was delicious but the customer service and care left something...
Read moreAfter quitting them for years I decided to return to DiCicos 99/clinton. They're the only one in my area. I've been back a couple of years and have dinner delivered every couple of weeks. It's 40 bucks a pop now and climbing. Prices rise we all know and accept that, but conversely the quality should reflect the cost. In My case and I'm not given to exageration they drop the ball in one way or another at least half the time, (food spilled in the bag, missing items), repeatedly. When you call to let them know they lable you an agressive complainer. legitimate concerns go unresolved doubt it is the owner who disrespects his customers like that. Probably one of these overly delicate snowflakes permeating the work force these days. I'm sure it's a labor problem but it's no longer my problem so long snowflakes. You,re hurting a good...
