La Placita — Restaurant in Fresno

I have not tried every menudo served in Fresno. But this is the best one I have tried. Very flavorful broth and a nice assortment of tripe chunks. During the week they only serve the red menudo with chile, not the plain menudo. It is not very spicy. The aguas we tried (horchata, tamarindo, and jamaica) were excellent. Generous portions and nice and tangy the way we like them. We also tried the flautas, but they were a bit overcooked. Excellent homemade corn and flour tortillas....

Their Mexican food is amazing! When me and my girlfriend ordered tacos from here they were a good size with handmade corn tortillas. The Menudo here is not chewy at all and is seasoned properly. Their chicken tostada's came with two chicken tostada's, refried beans, and Mexican rice. You get all this for $9 plus taxes great deal for that amount of delicious food. Come here and experience their food...

Second time ive been here and second time they forget an order...i asked to speak with the owner and waitress laughed and said there was no owner here.. really bad customer service there went the second chance we gave them... we had to remind them about the order again. Whats the point of writing orders down if it doesnt matter. Awful place 2nd time bad experience. Never coming here. No...
