Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Fresno

I've been ordering from this mountain mikes now for at least a year now. As of lately My pizzas are not coming out to my liking. I order ahead of time. I order online. And yet, there's ALWAYS as of the last 4 pizzas I've ordered there's something wrong. I specifically ask for Extra Sauce because if I don't EVERY pizza chain in fresno loves to make DRY pizzas, smile at me and hand it to me after paying. The perfect pizza for me is a pepperoni, bacon and spinach with extra sauce and for SOME reason this is hard to make for a lot of chain pizza spots. This mountain mikes has created S+ tier level of pizzas before and I'm not exaggerating. The one I received today on 7/13/2025 instead of spinach they gave me chicken (and the sauce was light even though I asked for extra) on my pizza which is an absolute disgrace to pizza as much as pineapple. The store didn't call or email me telling me they ran out of spinach they just threw on chicken. I'm going to keep ordering from this mountain mikes because it's in my neighborhood and I support local but guys let's get it together. I want to recommend mountain mikes to people. And lately I haven't.

UPDATE 7/21/2025: The owner of the restaurant reached out to make the effort and make things right. I appreciate him for that. My pizza was remade free of charge and it was delicious. Nicely baked. Mountain Mike's Pizza: A 10/10 Experience

Mountain Mike's Pizza is a true standout, earning a perfect 10/10 in my book. The location is excellent, and the fact that they're open until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays is a huge bonus for anyone with late-night cravings. The owner is an absolute gem—the best in the entire franchise—and their commitment to making every customer feel like family is what sets this place apart.

The food is consistently delicious, from the savory pepperoni that pops with flavor to the incredible $49 49er deal that's always a fantastic value. Even though I’m a RAIDERRRRRsss fan. It All love!! Only 100% true football fans don’t trip over another person‘s team. But the menu is much more than just pizza. You have to try the buffalo wings, which are coated in that classic Frank's RedHot sauce, and the mouthwatering garlic cheese sticks. And for a sweet finish, the delicious churros are the perfect treat.

My husband and I love to treat ourselves to Mountain Mikes once or twice a month. Our go to location was on First and Shaw And we were beyond ecstatic to have a location open up closer to us. At first, it was great! We ordered delivery, received it in a timely manner (around the promised time) and the pizza was delicious. However, in the last 6 months or so we noticed a drastic change in quality and service. When I place an order I receive a promised delivery time, then later I’ll receive an updated delivery time via text that is often an hour or more after the promise delivery time. It appears that delivery has been outsourced to DoorDash which is disappointing. Our pizzas have come lukewarm at best and have been obviously sitting until a driver is assigned to the order. Our most recently order has cold cheese and chewy crust. Not only is this disappointing from a company that take pride in using fresh ingredients and references offering a quality product, it is also concerning from a food safety standpoint as well.
