Pho-Life kitchen & BoBa House — Restaurant in Fresno

Not going to lie. I was like hey this place is new let's give it a try, I'm so upset at myself for coming here but I gave it a chance and tried something new. The atmosphere was the best part of this visit. Except for the fact they had a movie and music playing at the same time. It's one or the other not both especially when the sounds are overlapping with each other. My friends with ADHD will have trouble focusing. The food was terrible. My bahn mi meat was cold and fatty. I asked for grilled pork but it felt like I got pork belly instead and it was cold like it was just sitting. The spring rolls are just a mess no cucumber no cilantro, no flavor. They only have shrimp spring rolls not pork. The egg rolls were more like lumpia which I'm not sure if a Vietnamese egg roll is the same thing but I was not looking for that. It seems like they specialize in drinks and not meals or food items that need preparation. Today they had family members coming in and out of the place and going into the kitchen. A girl in her pajamas and not the server, handed us our egg rolls which was really weird. The family members were going straight into the kitchen. Hands are not washed after interactions at the cash register and the waitress then hands dine-in customers their food. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was here yesterday for a Boba drink. I ended up going with the coconut smoothie. The consistency of the smoothie was perfect! You could taste the freshness of the coconut! The boba was tender & tasted really good as well. They definitely know how to prepare their tapioca! Anyways, came back the next day for som Pho! I read reviews saying it was the best broth in Fresno! It might just be. The pho was honestly perfect; I had the rare steak & for the first time ever I was left with plenty of broth! Most places don’t give enough broth in my opinion. There was a lot of steak & just the right amount of noodles with the pho as well! Can’t wait to come back with some guests! Cant rate the food because didnt get any service. We came in and the young lady at the counter had is take a seat but was not given a menu, then she kept running back to the boba side for idk what, then there was two other older lady customers there that was sitting under the ceiling fan and wanted to switch seats because they were cold, and when they did, the lady at the front counter said they couldnt sit at the tables near the back because idk what she said..... bad service not going there again.
