Where do I start?? Most people might look at this place and judge it by the area it is in, not the best area to be honest but the business has stood the test of time because of what it offers inside this very quaint, nostalgic place, an owner with a curled up mustache dedicated to serving quality food at a very fair price. It is a very comfortable yet rustic restaurant that deserves your business simply because it is just that simple. Good food, good service and good prices. We need to show our appreciation for businesses like this that have survived Fresno and it's downhill spiral allowing homeless people to camp out everywhere and destroy downtown Fresno and any business trying to survive while drug addicts urinate and defecate or shoot up openly in the streets because we accept that as the new norm, shame on Fresno for not uplifting and supporting any business trying to survive in the midst of a homeless, smothered in trash jungle. Visit this business and help support it keeping its head above the drug infested waters of downtown Fresno. I will gladly continue to visit this place while having lunch from work. Good people support other good people. My belief...
Read moreThis place really brings me back to the 90's Me-N-Eds flavor and style of pizza, most notably the quality and consistency. I believe if I am correct, this place used to house a location as well before now, it still has an old-fashioned pizza parlor feel. This is a family owned and run restaurant, the attention to detail speaks volumes of how each pizza is created.
Quality ingredients, perfect amount of toppings, plentiful amount of cheese without having to order "extra cheese" to get a normal amount like other places are now. The crust is flavorful, light and flaky, which can hold the toppings without sacrificing buttery deliciousness.
Treat yourself and support a local family business, come dine-in or order a couple pies to go, you will NOT be disappointed. Please keep this place around for as long as they want, I know I will be enjoying these wonderful pizzas and...
Read moreSam's Pizza is actually a pretty great place to go to for when you're in the mood for some pizza. As their name suggests, they focus on pizza, but they do offer some other things, such as salads, breadsticks, and wings. They also offer drinks in small bottles, or 2 Liter bottles, and for adults who want some alcohol, they have a small bar as well. This isn't just a regular pizza place though. It's pretty nice to have parties at as well, since they do have some arcade games for kids, an air hockey table, and a big television where they usually have sports playing on. I will say though that my only complaint is that if it is pretty full, and you order a pizza just to take home instead of eat inside, be ready to wait up to at most an hour...
