I went with 3 adults and a 6 year old child for the buffet (4 people total). I also asked for a side of saag paneer, malai kofta, and punjabi salad (spicy pickled mango). After me giving a generous 30% tip and being told it was ok to use the bathroom, I was immediately told the bathroom was not able to be used for hand washing for me and 2 of my children. The mango lassi was room temperature, since it was left out on a table and going sour, the "Punjabi salad" was NOT pickled mango, but sliced carrots and cucumber. They charged me $110 for a terrible experience and room-temperature food. My older son took 2 bites of his food and wouldn't finish it because he was concerned about getting sick from it, as was I. My 6 year old had 2 pieces of watermelon and a samosa from the buffet (which I paid the $13.99 fee for, since apparently there is not a kids rate). They had watermelon, cantaloupe and other veggies out on a table with no ice or way to keep cool. I will be contacting the health and food administration about my experience and I won't be back. They won't be staying in business long if they continue giving customers an experience like this one, especially with a top-rated indian restaurant right across the street. Also, the very grumpy dark-haired male that yelled something in an indian language to the woman should NOT be in the food industry and leave the customer service to the nice lady at...

This was my 6th time eating here. This time we had garlic naan, butter chicken, Tandoori chicken, kadai chicken, mango lassi, and gohbi manchurian. In past visits I've ordered chicken biryani for lunch too. Everything we've had to date there has been delicious. The gohbi manchurian is one of my favorite appetizers. This last time I think I enjoyed the flavor of the kadai chicken the most but it's hard to choose a favorite. The service there is always top notch too. They always strive to make each visit pleasant and make sure we're taken care of without being intrusive. This last visit we got to try a new dish, complimentary, which was very good also. I pick up a few grocery items at times too from the store, as I like making my own masala Chai at home. Anyway, I can't recommend enough for people to give this place a try for lunch or dinner. I wish I had taken pics of our meal but we started eating as soon as the food arrived and the photos were an...

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Ordered 2 Chicken Tikka Masala plates and a Chicken Saag, with 2 appetizers, desert, and garlic Naan. I repeated my order of Chicken Tikka Masala multiple times and required it to have very little to zero spice. The food took nearly 45min to prepare. They almost sent me out with the 2 appetizers of Chicken Tikka instead of the Masalas. I waited another 15min (1 hour total) for the correct order. I again requested multiple times that the Masalas have little to no spice. After finally getting it home and tasting them, they all had the same spice level as the Saag. It's as if they agreed to give me what I ordered but decided to give it to me the way they wanted to. Thanks for nothing. The Masla is too spicy for my wife and kids to eat. It's going into the garbage where the rest of your restaurant belongs. AVOID THIS PLACE...

Went for lunch, looking for something different. The server was very friendly and helpful. Suggested a few things but decided on chicken seekh Kebob, had Veggi Samosa along with some rice and pita bread. Not being accustomed to curry, it was a bit overpowerful, which I know they would adjust without hesitation. Other then that, it was amazing! Very flavorful and tasty. My friend had a different dish, which was as good as mine! The overall feel is similar to a Mexican style store where you can buy a meal to sit down and eat, or take out. Sher-E does offer take out, dine in, and I saw they're using Uber Eats. If looking for Punjab food, I'd give this quaint place a try. Also got a good deal from the store side for some roasted/salted peanuts 🥜 👌

Kind of missed the mark a little for me here. I’ve more recently had Punjabi food and this place is still good and definitely for the price you get your money’s worth. I ordered the butter chicken and it was full of flavor and had everything you want in butter chicken. Then I ordered a tandoori fish and this was really full of flavor and extra spicy, which was spicy for my wife. Then we ordered the garlic naan and it just missed the mark because it was not as fluffy and garlicky as I would like. The service makes up the biggest difference. The lady who served us was super nice and was attentive to us. Would I come back and try something else, I would because of the fact that service was good and they might have had an off day.

Pretty good buffet - - nice to see it back since covid. Today I got chicken tikka masala to go with a side of rice and it seemed a little bland and could have used some salt. Also the chicken was a bit dry. Not quite as good as I remember before covid. Also, there is no air conditioning in this restaurant and today was 102° outside. Same problem in the winter, it's freezing out and the doors are open. So it's not the best experience if you plan to dine in. The grocery section is kind of cool- lots of great items if you like to cook Indian food at home. Also they have good desserts in the glass case. It definitely feels like a taste of India.
