I used to live in the Tower District, many moons ago, across from Tower Blendz so when I moved back, I was super excited to see an Amazing establishment move in!! And!!! Acaí bowls!!! Yummy!! My kids and I have been there a few times..Wow!! Honestly the best tasting Acaí bowls I've had in a good min!! The restrooms are super clean!!! The ambeince inside is delightful!! I love all the scripture 🙏🏽 As for the service, the first few times we were in, absolutely outstanding!! Super friendly and easy conversations. However today, the girl who is slightly thick and with a nose ring, was very rude. So rude I had to hold myself back from telling her how I really felt, because my love for this place exceeded that anger. She didn't have to be rude. And she didn't apologize. Look, I work in customer service, it's legit my job 100%! I come across customer's who may just have had some bad news which leads into a bad day, or maybe they are super hungry and need to nourish their bodies, or maybe they are just having a hard time, or in a funky mood, BUT!!! MY job is "customer service" and I have to be the kind of person to understand these things and overlook them, being able to accommodate and give the customer my very best. Mind you if a customer is being absolutely incorrigible, then I understand different measures need to be taken.. but as for me in this particular time, I was having a deep and frustrating conversation with my 17 yr old son... Mind you she was giving him some information, but as a mature cahsier-associate-customer service rep-... She could have waited until the conversation was over. And I rudely interrupted or perhaps didn't understand, I still would have waited. She didn't. And her attitude sucked. I will be back. And I honestly hope I don't have to deal with her again. She is ugly, and I don't mean looks. I mean as her character. She doesn't belong behind the register taking customers orders. Read moreWalking into this restaurant was the most DISGUSTING 🤮 smell I have ever experienced walking into a store in my entire life, period (smelt like moth balls on steroids!) I immediately lost my appetite and tried not to throw up- that’s great when you are going into a place to eat. I had to stand outside while my boyfriend ordered and while they made our food- which took a LONG TIME for 2 bowls. If my boyfriend didn’t so desperately want an Acai bowl, I wouldn’t have even been a customer. Because of the smell we couldn’t even eat inside to enjoy AC. So we resorted to eating outside and there were no chairs (the employee did bring some out…but it was hot)- so our nice sit down meal became take out. Also the menu was confusing, unorganized and had no prices so we got charged extra for a topping. I only knew this because I ended up asking the question for my own self because I was confused. They got our service today, but never again. Nor would I recommend unless they update the menu and actually address the smell. The person at the register did their best to accommodate. However ultimately this falls on the business owner not employees. The owners should be more mindful of the health and care of their employees...
Read moreThey had awesome smoothies and fruit type bowls but the only thing is i had issues getting my promo code and took a minute their to figure it out had to do it over 5x's and barely got help ... The drinks were made right away but sat their til they were practically melted by the time i got actual help doing the online plus i was also purchasing 2 other items and i had to ask twice if they took my order and how i was paying separate with cash.. Honestly i am patient but they should help the customer first before continuing not just step them to the side and or have someone take over for a sec to help others it wouldnt have taken as long for me as it did.. Just saying but i still left a tip... It was awesome food though over all. Next time i just hope i have a better experience as far as service.. That's all
Update : the manager was very polite, listen to what i had to say, apologized and responded quickly to my review. This does show that they do care for their customers.. I have gone back a few more times and have had no problems anymore. Love their...
