My wife and I visited on a Friday evening. The parking directly in front of the restaurant was packed, so we had to park further away. It wasn't a long walk to the restaurant, though. After walking into the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly young man who seated us rather quickly. As we looked around, there were very few tables available. The noise level was a little loud, but not too loud where my wife and I couldn't hear ourselves speaking. There seemed to be just 3 waitresses working the entire restaurant because there were only 3 waitresses that were going back and forth from the kitchen. Our waitress brought us some chips and warm salsa, then took our drink order. We received those relatively quickly. Although we took a bit of time reviewing the menu, we weren't checked on until my wife and I closed our menus. We had a few questions, which were answered quite well, but the answers we received made us think more about our choices. We had to close our menus again before our waitress returned, but after she returned, we placed our orders. I ordered the El Tejano, and my wife ordered the Don Juan. Both dishes were excellent! Also, the guacamole was really great, so I purchased a 4-oz container to bring home and use for our meals. We really liked the food, our waitress was very nice, and the noise level wasn't too loud, so we will definitely return.

This place had great reviews so I gave it a try, I wasn’t too satisfied. I ordered a beef fajita quesadilla for 13.99 it was a small quesadilla with a dab of guacamole and pico not even enough to eat the entire quesadilla. The quesadilla tasted good just a bit too much cheese. I was pleased that they put chips and salsa in with my order after eating a few chip I found a HAIR stuck to one of my chips that just completely ruined my appetite. I ordered a horchata as well and it was different than what I was use to. This one taste more like milk and cinnamon. I was a bit disappointed with the food based on the reviews I had read.

We were looking for a Mexican food restaurant with better quality than others on 528 and stumbled across Habanero after Sunday church. What a great meal we enjoyed in what is apparently a remodeled restaurant. The chicken breast topped with cheese, shrimp and crawfish (Pollo Del Mar) accompanied by rice and charro beans was scrumptious. You typically can't go wrong with restaurants that serve warm salsa! I hope they maintain a good customer base so they can be successful and continue to serve the community.

Their customer service is utterly ridiculous. I ordered food through their website, placing my order at 5:40pm on a Friday evening. The email confirmation I received said the order would be ready at 6:05pm. My husband got there to pick it up a couple minutes before 6:05pm, they told him there n and they were just starting the order. He waited, I called several times asking for updates as I’m very pregnant and hungry. By 6:40pm, I asked him to check again because it’s been an hour since I originally offered and 40 min since he’d been there. The hostess went back to the kitchen, came out and told him it’s not ready yet. He had to ask her how much longer because it was originally supposed to be ready at 6:05pm. She went back to the kitchen then came out, sat another table and disappeared for several minutes. When she came back she said the kitchen couldn’t tell her how much longer, by this point it was almost 6:50pm. I told my husband to tell them to cancel the order and get a refund because we’re not waiting any longer if they aren’t going to try or provide any kind of true customer service for their mistake. I wasn’t originally angry at first when they didn’t start it until he got there, I get it, stuff happens, it gets busy. BUT after waiting for 40 min, you still can’t tell us when it will be done or offer any kind of apology or seem like you’re trying and care about us as customers!? When my husband spoke to the hostess because that’s the only person who has communicated with him so far to cancel the order and get a refund, she got the manager and she came up and only said “Sorry, you’ll have to contact DoorDash or whoever you went through to get a refund.” Then she walked away. That’s it. My husband had to get her again because we ordered directly through the restaurant’s website, not a third party service, or so we thought. She came back and told him that their website uses a different company to get online orders and we have to contact them. Then she walked away, no customer service, no trying to help us or save the order. Honestly, their food tastes really good, but I’m not dealing with people who don’t care to...

My daughter and I went there to celebrate Mother's Day early. When my daughter paid for the meal, it was charged twice. The manager saw it on the screen, but could not verify either transaction with the restaurant. She asked her to return the next day if the second transaction had not reversed. When my daughter returned, the manager and the server seemed to be irritated that my daughter actually returned to question the second charge. They tried to blow her off and it was only after I stepped in, the manager decided to contact someone to find out about the transaction. My daughter has yet to get her money back, but we will continue to follow-up with the restaurant until this issue is resolved. The manager even said that if it is not reversed, she would refund in cash. So, we expect a cash refund before the end of the week. To the owner, it would be helpful to educate your staff on properly dealing with issues like this since technology does not always work. Also, for someone in management, there should be a reasonable level of consideration instead of assuming that my daughter is younger than what she is. If I would not have been present, I know the manager would have blown her off and probably would have done nothing to make any attempt to rectify the situation. Your manager was dismissive and acted as if my daughter was lying. I have no intention of returning to your restaurant unless my daughter's issue is not resolved in a way that makes things...
