Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Friendswood

So disappointed with my experience here. We have visited 3 or 4 times and we will not be going back!!!

We came to try the new chicken sandwiches. As I was ordering the 5 sandwiches and 2 drinks, I was interrupted and told to finish my order at the window of the drive through..... when I pulled around there was a car infront of me, as I got to the window to finish the order and add an extra sandwich, they ignored me for a few minutes. The guy finally opened the window and instead of letting me complete the order, they asked me if I ordered 5 drinks. I told him I only had 2, then he cut me off to close the window and walked away. He came back to get my payment in which I reminded him I still need to complete my order.... HE THEN GETS FRUSTRATED AND TELLS ME I HAVE DRIVE AROUND AND GET BACK IN LINE TO DO SO... .... what in the world!!???

At this point I'm not very happy so I pay, get my food and drinks and leave. As I am pulling out I realized THEY ONLY GAVE ME ONE DRINK!!!! THEN, I TAKE A DRINK OF THE ONE I DID GET.... AND IT'S NOT THE RIGHT DRINK!!!!! SMH diet coke, instead of coke lol

So..... I didn't get to finish ordering, then I paid for 2 drinks that I did not get, and told to go to the back of the line to finish the order because they were too busy to allow me to complete my first one...... nope!!!!...

Have given this another chance and been surprised that the service has improved, still a little slow but much better. Haven't had a problem with cold chicken since initial visit.

Chicken was ice cold. I worked in the food industry for over 15 years and understand how things can happen and am generally very forgiving. However, the male staff members have a massive attitude at this location were out and out rude. they were not interested in customer service and said loudly enough to hear from their position at the drive thru that it couldn't be cold since they just made it, followed by a comment that everyone is saying it's cold. When confronted with the behavior along with a recommendation to feel the chicken since they clearly felt we were lying, they had no response or apology. There was one older female cook with a knee issue who was willing to remake the chicken and tried to address the problem. Unfortunately, young children can't sit around for an additional 15 minutes.

The cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired and there was no changing table in the women's room. Odd when it is in a family...

I really like Popeyes food, but they must have a seriously flawed franchise program and it is sad really, because I like their food. I don't expect much when I eat fast food, but I do expect a clean and sanitary environment. That is not what i found at this location. At the drive thru, the employee asked me to pull up front to the side to wait on our food which I did. Another employee brought out our food sans, utensils and condiments (typical retards who can't really work anywhere else ... and they want $15/hour too ... yea, right!). I go back inside to get utensils and condiments and notice that the door to the kitchen has the unmistakable stain of grease on the concrete leading from the back door of the kitchen to the drain in the drive-thru lane. I open the door to the inside of the restaurant and the smell of backed up sewage is overpowering. I got utensils and condiments and noticed standing water in the kitchen and a squeegee next to the outside door with the grease stains on the concrete. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of this location at that point and we chunked our food in the trash. I understand plumbing problems do occur, but this appears to be a such an ongoing problem as evidenced by the grease stains outside the...
