Eldo Donuts — Restaurant in Frisco

Not where we usually go for donuts since it’s about a mile further from the one by our house. However, I woke my daughter up early for her birthday to grab some donuts as a surprise and, to our dismay, the place we usually go to wasn’t prepared with anything she or our household wanted that early (6:45am). Fortunately, Eldo was the next nearest thing and I am so glad we decided to give it a go! There were so many options. I was able to get everyone back home’s order with no sacrifices and they even threw in a few extra without us realizing! We never even mentioned her birthday or anything but it made my daughter’s morning. More importantly—the donuts were WAY better than the donuts we’ve been getting for the last 4 years. Which we didn’t have any complaints to begin with, but goodness were they good! Our entire home was happy. I have only been to this donut shop once, and it was an amazing experience! I expected to walk in and buy a cheap donut that'll probably be stale, but my expectations were far exceeded. My first glance at all the donuts immediately put a smile on my face. There were so many different flavors and designs, and they even had my favorite superhero (Spiderman) as a donut! Of course, I had to get the Spiderman donut, which the woman working behind the counter filled with my favorite jelly flavor. I decided to order a couple of kolaches, too, since I was a little hungry at the time. After seeing a poster on the wall for milk teas and boba, I decided I couldn't leave without ordering a matcha milk tea with boba (which was delicious, by the way). Doughnut Snob & Extreme Foodie here!! Oh My Gosh Becky, Look at that Glaze 🤩 It is sooooo Perfect!! After 2 of my Ultimate doughnut shops closed down (over time) I hoped and prayed I could find a new local shop! And woooooo yall! Eldo Doughnuts 🍩 10 out of 10 !! Doughnuts are the perfect sweetness!
