Amazing service. Waitress was very kind quick and helpful. All 4 of our steaks were cooked to PERFECTION and I mean PERFECT the way we ordered them. The spicy pickles were in the top 3 breaded pickles I’ve had and the cheese fries were good. The sides of baked potatoe and broccoli hit perfect with the steak and not much of a corn bread guy but have to say it was delightful. Would highly recommend and will try n stop back in next time in town for work. MORE to add went back for a night 2. The mushroom caps and spicy peel shrimp apps were amazingly delicious. Got the ribs and they were fall off the bone good with fries and BBQ sauce to dip in (suggest) with coleslaw which was okey and friend got steakhouse burgher said was delicious our sides where overflowing. My French fries and his onion rings were a meal in them selves with his Mac and cheese. All for a reasonable price with beers included. Was very very sad the draft was down while there but had bottles of everything. Just hope drafts r working next visit cause so many menu choices makes me wanna go back and try everything

We called ahead an hour before closing with a group of 10 and they welcomed us in happily 20 minutes later! The service was prompt, tables put together ready for us, and the wait for food was short. The food was great and very well put together, with sizable portions especially for the pricing. It’s very reasonable for normal items but steaks and specialty meat can take you into the 20’s, pre-tip. Our table got a variety of burgers, wraps, quesadillas, and all were impressive. I ordered the Three Amigos burger; an absolutely massive cheeseburger with ham, bacon, and pulled pork. It was a delicious burger which ingredients were savory, but I feel could have used a sauce, like a house made barbecue or perhaps an aioli. I recommend no tomato, they overpowered the burger in my opinion. I ordered a side of their onion rings which tasted incredible, no sauce needed. Very friendly wait staff in a clean and unique establishment and atmosphere with marvelous accomodations. A great addition to my visit to Western MD.

We let Google guide us to this western themed "gem" located in Frostburg MD, minutes away from our final destination of Rocky Gap Casino and resort, in nearby Frederick, MD. As first timers, we found the restaurant and "saloon" to be a very relaxing atmosphere to have an early dinner . Bri, our server, was very cheerful and pleasant, but also went the extra mile explaining the very extensive menu items. You will find something here to dine on no matter your taste! We started with the crab Dip appetizer,..excellent!!!.a must try!! Also had the Crab and lobster Bisque 🦞, another home run!!..the fish n homemade chips wrap, also great., other items the family had were, bacon cheeseburger, Mushroom burger, and Cajun chicken and shrimp..this should be on your list to stop in and try the homemade sides, bar b que and pasta (next tables near us).. we will definitely stop back to try something else, portions satisfy as well., ask for "Bri"...she'll know we sent you!.

UPDATE: Appreciative that a credit of $6 appeared in my credit card account several days later with no explanation. Nice to know someone cared about our disappointment. Thank you.

Had reservations for early dinner due to Father's Day ....bar seating was nice, quiet, and comfortable. Was looking forward to dinner as previous experiences had been wonderful.

Ordered different steaks, their specialty, his medium well, mine medium rare. When they arrived it seemed they were backwards, his medium rare, mine medium well. I had tips and only two had any pink. When I pointed it out to our server, she said she entered both medium rare and reluctantly asked if I wanted another one. Not wanting to cause problems for the kitchen I said, "no, just please make the chef is aware so future guests would not be disappointed. She took his back to cook more and it was still not the appropriate temp when it was brought back. We said nothing. I was not offered a refill for my tea (which was totally empty, including melted ice) and was glad I had been given a glass of water earlier.

Disappointed that attention to detail was non existent and amused that we were charged for extra butter (one each) for our baked potatoes. Grateful that the grilled mushrooms and onions gave the overcooked tips flavor.

I'm not one to complain about dinner but I guess I should have insisted on a replacement. Had looked forward to a nice dinner and hated leaving disappointed, especially since I live 12+ hours away and have few...

I happened to pass this seemingly charming steak house on a Sunday night. Ordered the ribs and the half pond Angus burger. The burger was cooked over well-done and dry with little flavor. The portion of the meat seemed less than claimed half pond. The waitress was friendly, however never asked me how I'd prefer the temp of the meat to be when ordering She apologized and said the kitchen usually cook it "medium well". In my case, it was well-done-extra dry. She asked me "is anything I can do for you?" I would've asked if I was the waiter "would you like me to get a new one cooked just right for you?" In my opinion, the friendliness has no substance. The ribs was just OK, with 70% of the meat being sort of tender, then the outer part (the other 30%) was hard and tasteless. The teriyaki veggie side has a flavor dated back to the wild west, kinda wired. The best thing was that the coke, which had abundant flavor and cabonation; the corn bread was fluffy and tasty. The dining area is desperately needing a total renovation. Overall, my experience was "I don't think I'd ever go back" unless a free meal is offered (then I will think about it). It seemed that the reason this restaurant still have a good business is bcs there weren't any real food places in town. I hope my review is not overly critical. For $40, I could've gotten a much better meal at a Silver Diner, or, if locally, at the Moon Shadow Cafe (the best...

Edit- 2025- Had yet another graduation in the area so we popped in to see if the food was still as we remembered from 7 years ago. We don't live in the area at all so the 1st time we visited this place was also the last time. I'm happy to report that their sweet potato fries is STILL the bomb! HOWEVER, the special syrup they had with the fries is now gone and replaced with smuckers maple syrup (the kind u get at a hotel breakfast).....NOT THE SAME. I don't fault them however, they might have made the change as a result of covid n needing individual containers, etc. Other than that, the food is still good, ribs were a bit dry though, but everything else was good.

2018- Made a reservation for graduation lunch based on reviews I saw here. We were NOT disappointed. Service was excellent, food was great. Their sweet potato fries is one the BEST I've had (and I've had a lot). It comes with a special syrup which I didn't try (as a sugar conscious person, I thought that was sweetness overload. lol) but my cousin tried it and she insisted I put in this review that the syrup with the sweet potato fries is just out of this world - pure heaven! (her words, not mine). The seafood was excellent, had the crab cake, also tried the mahi mahi - really really good. The burgers were great too. If I'm ever in that area...I am definitely stopping by again. I might just make a trip just for those sweet...
