We recently dined at Daruma a Japanese Steakhouse restaurant in Saint Augustine and it was an incredible experience. The sushi was exceptionally fresh, bursting with flavor in every bite. Great selection of appetizers, cocktails and local craft beer. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The service was top-notch, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. One of my friends needed a coffee for the long drive home and even though it was not on the menu they went out of their way and made one for her . With such awesome food and service and a clean environment, I will definitely be returning for more delicious sushi or hibachi . Highly recommended!

The ownership group personally made sure our dining experience was top-notch — their hospitality went above and beyond. Highly recommend for anyone looking for exceptional quality Asian-cuisine and above average attentive-service.

As promised, I went back for another try, and I'm so glad I did!!! Although the sauce for the pan-fried dumplings was still terrible, the rest of the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the filet hibachi, and I was not disappointed. It was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My daughter got the chicken and loved it. My parents have never been to a Japanese steakhouse before, and they absolutely loved it when I took them just before Thanksgiving. My daughter loves the sushi options, and my husband got the boat of sushi one time and couldn't finish it but enjoyed it immensely. Hot sake is good, too. Cheers

This is one of the best Asian cuisine I've tried in Florida for a reasonable price, especially with their sushi and sashimi. I was visiting St. Augustine with my family and found this restaurant for dinner a day before Mother’s Day, and WE LOVED IT. They have a variety of choices whether you want to dine in for à la carte or hibachi. The service is excellent; everyone is so friendly. They have a great selection of wines, sakes, and cocktails. They have spacious tables for gatherings of any size. You have to try their bao appetizer and fresh sushi & sashimi! I had a pink cocktail drink—forget the name, but it’s delicious. I would totally just drive there to try the hibachi next time, sushi, and more amazing cocktails. I believe they are a new establishment, definitely...
