SCARY SCARY NIGHT!!! Went last night at 7pm with 3 couples and 6 children ages from 9 to 12. Service was very slow and the place is run by kids who are unfamiliar with the menu. but that was fine we were not in hurry and were enjoying each others company. My 10 year old daughter had asked someone to bring her a gatoraid and they told her to go to the bar to get it... (I had no clue about this) so she goes to the bar and they bartender give my child a RED BULL! I smelled it on her breath and asked "who gave you RED BULL?!" So i walked up to the bartender and asked if he gave my child a RED BULL and he said she asked for it...I said you cannot serve a child a RED BULL...I did not yell I simply gave him facts about him being in the wrong to serve a child from the bar or to ever give a child an energy drink.
I go back to our table and the next thing I know this GIANT man and his Giant wife sitting behind us start yelling at us and our kids that we need to clean up our mess! The man was YELLING at our children! Our girls were terrified that the man and woman were going to beat up their moms and dad....quite frankly so were we. We gathered our things and left the restaurant...a young employee followed us out explaining that the man and woman were the bartenders parents and she was very sorry....But WHOLLY SMOKE! I will NEVER go back to that place again! Why the owner lets kids run their establishment with no supervising adults and allows drunken hooligans to bully the patrons is beyond me...good luck staying in business...none of us will...

We haven’t eaten at Hurricane Grill on 210 for a long time because of how expensive it has gotten. we used to eat here three time a week!
Tonight went there and the parking lot was empty. Go inside and they are mandating an 18% tip no matter what the party size or the quality of the service.
This is the most tasteless unprofessional concept I have ever seen in the restaurant business!
Tip stands for “to ensure proper service”.
This is inexcusable.
Parking lot empty. Need I say more?
Since the response was turned off on this review after the manager replied - I would like to respond in my original post.
People like the option to tip and it makes them happy when we find special servers that we get to know and can tip accordingly. Especially someone that eats out a lot. We meet kids all the time that are working their way thru school and we tip them because they are great kids and working hard. Again, tip stands for “to ensure proper service.”
If you are going to have mandatory tips that tells us that you do not have any standards to quality of food or service. Great business plan!
To add insult to injury there is also a tip line on the charge slip where you can graciously add an additional tip! Which if you are not pay it attention and reading the fine print - will cost you and additional 15% to 20%!!! lol.
Which is where they really pissed me off tonight and turned off the comments to my...
Read moreThis visit was sometime I October, 2018. When I edited the post it reflected as if I had just visited. **October 2018. I will start this review by simply saying I have plenty of positive reviews and rarely complain. I think this is the last time we go to this location. I guess, if you are getting wings, you are ok. You really can't screw that one up. BUT, for the 4th and last time this establishment managed to make up our minds to not bring the family there anymore. The only thing on our order that came out right was....my wings. My wife's order was missing the upcharged item, and eventually after asking, it was still missing a dipping sauce. Our kids cheeseburgers not only did not have cheese on both of them, but it looked like they ran out of meat and made two burgers with one patty. I wish I took a picture. The nerve of the chef to put it on a plate to serve customers. When I showed and complained about it, the server's eyes just opened up. Then one of the kids meals was missing fruit. When the fruit came out, it was spoiled rotten. My daughter, a fruit lover, said it did not taste right. So my wife and I each tasted it. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The entire experience was the last time we will ever enter this place. Either management or kitchen operations needs to be thoroughly reviewed. I could care less about the 10% discount, serving rotten food to my daughter is not worth...
