I ate at this jack in the box two nights before this post. This was the last place I remember using my credit card. Unfortunately I did not realize that my credit card was missing until 11:35PM on August 28th. I checked online and saw that this location was closing at 12 AM so I called them, however they did not answer. I called again a few more times at 11:50PM while I was making my way there and there was still no answer.
I admit that up to this point everything was my fault. I should have realized sooner that my credit card was missing, If i did I could have tried arriving at a better time. Unfortunately that was not case and I arrived at 12AM. I understand that the location was closed at this point, however I needed to figure out whether I should contact my credit card company if my card was stolen/lost or if my card was at this location as this was the last place I used it.
I saw two people at the back of the register closing so I tried to get their attention. One of them was a lady who did see me at the front door. She told me that they were closed. I tried to tell her through the glass that I was not here to order food but to see if I left my credit card there but she just kept saying we are closed. Eventually she finally came up to the glass wall that and I tried to explain my situation. Instead of at least opening the door to be able to hear me, or telling me to walk around to the window of the drive thru if she didnt feel safe, she just kept telling me that she could not hear me. And so, I tried taking out my phone so I could show her a text of my situation but she just walked away back to the register...
Up to this point I was frustrated at the situation but there was nothing I could do at this point. She did not give me even the most basic amount of decency to at least try to hear me out. If she could not hear me, there were definitely a few options that we could have done so that I could communicate with her. As I stared at her in frustration, what made me really mad was I saw her give me a quick look while she was talking to her coworker and then she started laughing. She could have been laughing at something else but in my perspective it looked like they were laughing/mocking me.
I decided to leave instead of waiting until they came out since then that would be weird and it would seem threatening if I kept staying in front of the door until they came out. I fully understand that the location was closed however I tried calling the location multiple times before it was closed. First, it took 25 minutes in the drive through to get my food, then I get to the front and I had made sure to ask the girl a second time if my ultimate sandwich had secret sauce added. She said yes, so then I asked for extra secret sauce cause most of the time you will get a dab of sauce at this Jack in the Box (I've lived across the street for 15+ years), there was a guy at the window with the girl and he went to go get the secret sauce for me and threw it in the bag. As I went to check to make sure it was the right sauce the girl tried to rush me along by saying loudly, THANK YOU HAVE A GOOD NIGHT, I looked up at her and said hold on real quick I just need to see what sauce he gave me (the package didn't look right) and sure enough he gave me sweet and sour sauce. so she went to grab the other sauce then said the same exit quote as earlier. WELL, I should have checked my burger before leaving because sure enough they didn't put ANY sauce on it! If I had not had the mind to check the sauce to begin with I would have been stuck with sweet and sour sauce or a dry burger! Im at my wits end with this Jack in the Box. This location #262 usually honors this deal. All depends on what crewmember or manager is working. I came in tonight to get my free jumbo jack but the crewmember said i cant get the deal. He said the Dodgers have to get 10 stikeouts and win the game. They didn't even know the Dodgers played last night. I told them they did play on Sunday and got 10 stikeouts. The crew member started telling me i can't get a free jumbo jack because the Dodgers lost the game. I said read your promotion sign. 10 strikeouts and your in. The manager read the sign 10 stikeouts and Win then you get a free jumbo jack. Anyone who watches the Dodger games knows its 10 Stikeouts and you get a free jumbo jack with a paid large drink. The spanish manager added a W in front of your in it's Not WIN. Im so tired of everyime i go there the crew and manangment always argues with me about the free jumbo jack promotion. Why can't they know what the deal is. I'm very tired of this location crew and manangment not knowing what the Dodgers deal promotion is. It seems like they don't want my weekly visits.
