The Brickhouse Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fuquay-Varina

Wasn't IMPRESSED with the service/bartenders one bit!! It's been a few years since I've been here. It used to be Fuquay-Varina Sports Bar last time I was there. Yes, I know it's been a while, don't get out much these days...lol Was meeting a friend for drinks this past Valentines Day. She was already there and seated. I came in, took my coat off, sat down, and waited to see if either bartender was going to say hi, can i get you anything, they both walked by several times, saying nothing to me. So i waited another 10-12 minutes before I had to wave one of them down. Finally ordered my drink, I finished it, waiting to see if they were going to ask, would you like another, (since they did grab the empty bottle and threw it away) Nope, I had to wave them down again!!! NEVER ONCE DID THEY GREET ME, MADE US FEEL WELCOMED, ASKED IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING, NO SMILES OR LAUGHS, JUST VERY RUDE, HORRIBLE SERVICE!! The DJ, Blue, is legit awesome. First time I went to the brick in about 4 years he was doing karaoke, and it stopped me in my tracks and I listened to him the whole time. When he was done with his song I dapped him up and told him that he had me in a trance. He then told me he Dj’s there, so I came on a Saturday night when he was djing, and I had an amazing time. He really connects to the vibe of the crowd and feeds off their energy. If he was djing more I would be up there more often. I went another night when the usual DJ was there and he was not interactive at all with the crowd and seemed to only play what he wanted us to hear, whereas the other DJ played what the crowd wanted to hear plus his own style. If you want more business and more profit, I would suggest promoting blue to most nights. I’ve been there a couple of times but never ate there. I wasn’t impressed from jump as this isn’t a very welcoming place to begin with. There are holes in the walls and the floor as you walk through. The holes in the walls are in the men’s restroom to be clear. Go figure right. Ha. Some were patched and yet again busted out. It’s a very dreary looking place all together. So I finally ate there as it was $1 wing night because I heard the food was great. The wings weren’t good at all really or was the extremely runny and bland ranch dressing.
