Family owned and operated spot in Gainesville, TX. I got the Take Me to the Water. When I ordered it y'all, the name didn't make sense. After eating it, it makes perfect sense!! 🤣🤣 Those stuffed jalapenos were hotter than I expected but balanced well with the meat and cream cheese stuffing. Pair those Texas Twinkies with the hot links and this sandwich had me sweatin!! The smoked chicken with cheddar cheese, helped to balance the heat, and the Texas Toast was a must to house all that meat!! I mean the container it came in had to be held shut with a rubber band! My wife got the brisket potato with extra brisket. The brisket was tender and flavorful! The potato was seasoned separately, which doesn't happen often, adding to the deliciousness of the meal!!

If you go make sure to call ahead to see what they're serving. They don't serve everything, every day. It's definitely worth the wait!!

My wife got the Oreo cheesecake. It was scrumptious!! The cheesecake was filled with Oreo pieces that were soft and topped with crunchy pieces on top. It was sweet but not overly. I had the sopapilla cheesecake. I couldn't pass on it, not many dessert places carry it. It was delectable!! The filling was light and creamy. The crust was flaky and crunchy and plenty of sugar and cinnamon on top!! Yummy!!...

Oh my GOODNESS! This place was AWESOME! I just stumbled in looking for a sweet treat after church with my girls to take to the park. This place was really close, and their cookies and cake portions were hearty! We bought carrot cake and chocolate chip cookies (which were beautifully flavored....seriously) and then at checkout, I saw they sold a Sunday dinner: ribs, mashed potatoes, beans....the works. I could not resist the smell, so I bought one to go. Hands down, best I have ever had....maybe even better than my dad's...just don't tell him! Spices were perfect, meat melted in my mouth....Even my picker eaters wouldn't leave my plate alone and now I don't even have leftovers to post in a picture....I never really leave reviews...maybe two in my life....but I had to review this place! I don't know who the chef is...but dang,...

Atmosphere is almost like walking into a place you don’t belong very unwelcoming. Asked what was the meal for today said with the lowest mumble pork chops like I just ruined his whole day. Didn’t even attempt to tell me what came with it! After ordering the pork chops we finally see the menu and says it comes with mac&cheese beans and toast! We’ll get our food and there is no mac&cheese comes with whatever they want you to get mashed potato that taste like box mashed potatoes, and baked beans out of a can pork chops was way over seasoned! I won’t be going back! Need to learn some type of home training for one! Customer service goes long way! And maybe need to put your menu in different spot Instead of right there in front of a table where people are sitting So it goes...
