We were sorry not to have been there in time for breakfast, because my husband loves biscuits and gravy but our lunches were everything we could have asked for. He had the grilled bacon chicken melt sandwich and was so happy that the chicken was cooked perfectly (unlike so many restaurants). I had the pork tender sandwich and was delighted that it was a real piece of meat with a crunchy coating, that was bigger than the bun but not what my husband likes to call a Frisbee (meat pounded to death and more breading than meat). The sandwiches, the French fries and the onion rings were all top notch. Our meal took a while as they had just been hit with an unexpected party of 26! with no notice. Our server explained the situation and we were happy to wait. It was definitely worth it. Galena is pretty out of the way for us, but we'll surely be back to...

In reference your maple hill restaurant on april13 2024 waited for my food 1hr 45minutes. People were walking out of restaurant. The excuse was they were a new c o ok Those is unexcuseable. This is the worst service I've ever had. This is not away to run a business. This review is deserved. Hope the owner reads it. Lots of un happy customers. Someone in charge should of been their and owner was called. Donot like we the answer back to carry on to employees. Owner should have immediately been their. Resolving issue. Note I was patient had other people with me. Some people were getting served before others who came in last. While others were their before them. It was out of controll be accountable for this. I have heard other complaints about people waiting. I have had good service at your. Galena restaurant. No...

There was a total of the people in the restaurant when we entered. A waitresses that I'm assuming was the owner was on the phone taking a to go order. No big deal after the she was done taking the order she continued to have a personal conversation from the side that I could hear. Then five minutes later she came and took our drink order. Then another waitress came and took our food order. Then 25 minutes later our food came out. Everything had way to much seasoning on it wasn't very warm amd bread was soggy. We was never offered a refill or brought our ticket. I went to the counter to pay and was ignored while they were talking in the kitchen. The cold mashed...

Wanted a place to eat between Branson and Springfield recently. We were not disappointed. Arrived at 11. Stopped serving breakfast 11 and they mean it. Ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with tots on the side. Order came out promptly and hot. My wife’s burger came was excellent also. Service was superb. Wait person was efficient and friendly. By the time we left every table was full with the church crowd. Everyone except us were local which didn’t matter at all. If we lived nearby we would be happy to get our food there anytime. Well worth getting off the main drag.

Little resteraunt but decent space and plenty of room for dine in...they also have an outdoor seating area for after. Our waitress was kind enough to let us wait outside as we just got off the river and were wet still. Food is priced reasonably and has large portions for the price. Very friendly staff, even the cook came to ask how the food was...we will be returning..especially for those fried pickles!! Thank you again...wish I caught the waitresses name so I could give a shout out.

Hidden Gem in Galena, MO!! Stopped in for Breakfast and boy were we given a wonderful treat! The food was AMAZING!! Veggie omelet, Spanish omelet, French toast, fried eggs, bacon, grits, home fries and sourdough toast!! We tried it all and were glad we did!! This is also one of the cleanest restaurants we have ever set foot in. Even the restrooms! The lovely decor and warm, friendly staff make you feel right at home!! Can’t wait to go back!!
