Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Gallatin

Wellllll.... 🤔 to be blunt, I didn't care for it much overall. I ordered online and picked up so I can't speak to service or atmosphere... it was hot and ready! But!! First and prob most importantly, I didn't like the dough/crust. How do I explain this? It just didn't have that fresh dough flavor... that "yeasty" flavor? If that makes any sense, 🤔... and to me, the outer crust, should have that "crunch" to it on the outside! Its just soft, with something kinda "grainy" sprinkled on it! Next... the sauce didn't have much flavor to it either! Just a plain old marinara (from the can)? with no basil or oregano flavor... just no "pizazz!" Thirdly, the toppings... the mushrooms definitely came from a can... and the meatballs were equally boring... they tasted like something you get frozen from a bag! 😒 So, basically the only "good" I found was, it presented well, plenty of toppings, the cheese was ok... oh yeah, it was hot! Honestly, I believe I've had better pies from the freezer section at the groc. store! Hey, sorry... but you asked! I'm just being honest... We ordered one pizza and a sub at 8:40pm. We went to pick it up at 9:20 expecting to grab and go. They hadn’t even started cooking the order yet. There were no other orders or customers in the store. It was dead. The two ladies were talking about a rude customer they recently had on the phone instead of prepping the order. Overall it was a 45 min process to receive one pizza when the store was dead.

Workers handled the trashcan without gloves then proceeded to make a pizza without washing hands

Lady began making a thin crust pizza with red sauce, apparently realized it was supposed to be white sauce. She brought the pizza to the trash can and scraped off the red sauce then put white sauce on the pizza. (There was still plenty of red sauce on left on the pizza).

When I got home, there was a long hair cooked in the sauce.

The sub was a sorry excuse for a sandwich. Small, dry, and smashed. Not even close to being worth the $8 it cost.

This was a terrible experience. There has got to be some quality control and standards if Marcos is going to...

We ordered via the app last night. We ordered a large original crust philly, a 10 piece garlic Parm boneless wings, & a cheesy bread. All with sauces. The order arrives, & our large original crust is a medium thin crust. I called the store to be told I would be receiving a call for refund on the pizza, as that was the only issue, today. I have received no calls to make this right. As I love this pizza restaurant, I do not feel I can order again when not only was there issues with crust not being correct, but I also received a pizza smaller than what I was charged for. I kept my receipt as well as copy of my order on the app. Would have loved to give a better rating but paying for a large & getting a medium a long with wrong crust just gives me a bad taste, especially after presumably being brushed off as if it didn't matter.
