Home Sweet Home Cookin — Restaurant in Galloway Township

We came down from NY to visit my great aunt and were looking for a place to stuff or faces.....Looooooook! When I tell you this food slapped....🤤🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍😭😭😭😭. This was tears of joy. Drugs. Legal drugs! The brisket was slammin. The Yams smacked my ancestors alive and said you ninjas shoulda cooked yams like this! Everything on the menu is bomb squad rated! Evacuate ya moms kitchen and go here! Go in and just order any and everything! Be forewarned! You'll view all other food as subpar. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Depending on who's answering. My taste buds are acting like spoiled pets... ya know the ones that turn their noses up to dry food? Yeah. That food was so tragically good that me and my wife had to Leave. The. Country. True story. We're in Europe secretly lusting about Home Sweet Home cooking. Truthfully.... I'll leave my wife for that food........

Super disappointed. We went here with high expectations after reading the reviews.

The service was really nice and friendly and I feel bad for leaving such a low review but the food really just wasn't that good.

The French toast was so burned it was almost inedible. The potatoes were overcooked and soggy and tasted weird like they were cooked in the same oil as fish. The brisket sandwich was just okay. The meat was sliced like roast and the BBQ sauce was too sweet. Potato wedges limp and not crispy. They only have turkey and beef products, no pork.

Kind of an odd setup, this restaurant is in a strip of kiosk style eateries. Like a small food court. It's nice if you have a group that can't decide on what they want to eat but our food was also brought out separately with the breakfast food (the overcooked items)...

I'm writing this review for my partner who had the Brisket Smashburger special. It was great, the brisket especially is amazing! The fries that it comes with are the best kind, I guess they're called steak fries? Almost like thin potato wedges. Anyway we both loved them, me especially. The brisket is 5 stars, and it's loaded with it, but the smashburger itself was a little dry. He loved the sandwich overall though it was 🔥🔥🔥. We are definitely coming back because the service is great and the rest of the menu looks sooo good so im sure we're going to find a bunch of favorites here. The restaurants in the galloway exchange are fr sleeper hits. It seems to be family owned and the chef was just so sweet to us I wanna go back to see...
