Read moreRUN DO NOT WALK!!! This was my first Po-KAY experience and it was amazing!!! The owner was extremely friendly and walked us through everything they offer. When I tell you everything tasted so fresh and had so much flavor!!! We both had one of their signature bowls on their menu and everything just popped with flavor!!! We also had some crispy rice with spicy tuna and it was so good!!! Every single sauce they offer they make in house and it was so good. The spicy mayo and the sesame ginger sauce was so good!!! The owner also let us taste different items that you can put the salad. I tried the seaweed salad and it had such great flavor and brinyness too it. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other stuff they have. We tried different samples of their pork belly and pineapple chicken and every thing is just so good. I’m so mad I just found out this place has been open for a year already. They gave us some fried Oreos on the way out and my wife lost it. 😂😂😂 This place is a gem and I will definitely be back. Definitely good for a date night or a good place to take your wife postpartum to just enjoy. It is right across from Mainland hospital in Galloway NJ!!! My first poke experience will be one to remember!!! I am hooked lol — eating lunch with Elizabeth...
Read moreInside, the place is clean and new but has less charm than the average Chinese takeout spot. Unfortunately, there was a minor error with my order which was a special bowl and an item I did not want in it was put inside. Thankfully, I was able to salvage most of it. By the way, I live 15 minutes away and gave a 25% tip to the counter person for a (insert word here)'ed up order. They were very nice but I don't care. It was expensive. I swear I'm done tipping at the register. I suggest sampling the offerings before you lay down your cash. The food itself is fresh but nothing special. I really hate to say this but I'm going to anyway to be honest. I hate to sound cliche as well but I've been eating sushi for 35 years and the food tastes like cheap sushi or....wait for it...imitation crab meat salad (if you opt for it! Sorry, that stuff is garbage. It's only okay in a California roll. I'm not a sushi snob but I do know good sushi. Seems a cool spot for locals but I remain annoyed as my food is partially ruined for me. I just read in another review they charged for an extra side of soy sauce? Is that a joke? I seriously hope so. That is...
