I recently visited Grandma’s Restaurant, hoping for an authentic Mexican meal, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The tacos were notably greasy, and while some might enjoy rich flavors, these felt like they were missing the mark without any special seasonings or condiments on the meat to balance the fattiness.
The fresh elements, like coriander and parsley, were far from fresh – they looked withered and dull, lacking that crisp, bright flavor that usually elevates a taco. Read moreStopped by Grandma’s as we passed through town and were happy we did. Parking is restricted to the street and the entrance does not have a lot of fanfare, but the food was totally authentic. Coming from San Diego this place hit the mark with its read and green sauce.
