Wet Whistle — Restaurant in Galveston

Great service, terrific drink prices and a fun laid back vibe. Parking is very convenient but not a lot of spots available. They air the Astros games. Karaoke starts at 9pm on Saturday nights. It gets pretty crowded, but it’s a lot of fun. The restrooms are very clean and have air fresheners which smell great. Everyone seems to know each other, so it’s a locals spot for sure. Very convenient to Sea Isle housing and usually not as crowded as the Sand Bar. They have a back fenced in patio with picnic tables and a covered patio with tables in the front. I have been 2 times to WW and I am sure I will be back....

This is one of our favorite bars when we went to Galveston. We accidentally ran upon this driving.

For the most part everybody was great there was a little incident with a guy not being very nice to another female and it seemed the only people who stood up with us out of towners. It's never appropriate for a guy to lay his hands on a girl or be verbally abusive as he was. He should have been cut off long before he was.

But overall the drinks are wonderful and the atmosphere was great and everybody else was very inviting...

The bartenders are built like linebackers. Im talking wide back, 1x1 Lego pieces. If Carly is there, request her & only her. She is phenomenal & cute. Also, the vibe at this place is dreadful. It’s horrendous and you’ll be singled out if you don’t come with a group. We came 6 people deep and they was rude from the jump, except for Carly, which was only 30 minutes before we had to leave because it definitely was...
