Ninja Sushi was once a standout dining destination, known for its excellent service, inviting atmosphere, and fresh sushi. Unfortunately, I’ve had to downgrade my previous five-star rating due to significant concerns regarding cleanliness, food quality, and overall experience. Cleanliness: The restaurant’s condition has noticeably deteriorated. The carpet at the entrance is visibly dirty, paint is peeling from the walls, and there are dust accumulations throughout the space, including on the overhead lights. The menus are worn and unclean, and the restroom fails to meet basic sanitation standards, resembling a poorly maintained convenience store facility. Food Quality: The quality and consistency of the sushi have also declined over time. Rolls have noticeably decreased in size with each visit, and the flavor and presentation have suffered. • Rock Roll ($12.99): This roll, once a favorite, has been disappointing on multiple occasions. Despite being described as containing tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado, crab, soy paper, eel sauce, and spicy mayo, it primarily consists of shredded crab and minimal avocado, with very little tuna. The rolls are now approximately 1 inch in diameter, making them far less satisfying. • Vegas Roll ($9.99): This roll was equally underwhelming. It was flat, overly breaded, and lacked the richness of smoked salmon. The salmon was excessively fishy, suggesting poor quality or improper preparation. Conclusion: Given the current state of the restaurant, I can no longer recommend Ninja Sushi. While it was once a reliable option for great sushi and service, the decline in cleanliness, food quality, and overall attention to detail makes it difficult to justify returning at this time.

I came here on a Saturday night, which made it a little busy, but for 3 people at around 6:30pm, it only took about 10 minutes to get a table. We didn’t sit at the grill, but that was about a 20 minute wait. They had these Japanese sodas I used to drink when I was younger, so I tried the pineapple. It was very good! It’s a fun drunk because you open it by pushing a marble down in the drink so it makes it a cool drunk experience. I ordered sushi, the Yam Yam Roll, it was so lovely. It had so much flavor and the sauce was great. I also ordered a side of rice and the rice was phenomenal some of the best rice I’ve had. The service was great and our waiter was very tedious about checking on us. I can’t wait to go back!

There have been good experiences, and bad Before I have had issues with wait times. When you have only an hour for lunch and it takes 40 minutes to get your order taken, there can be some issues. So this time not so bad of a wait. But still good amount of time to wait on a not too super busy night. I ate the dragonfly roll, and the chicken and shrimp combo dinner. Overall the food was quite delicious. I love the sushi rolls. A quiet place to eat. Booths could use some updating. The gal that sat directly behind me moved the backing and "bumped" it quite frequently.

I have eaten at Ninja since it opened and I am appalled what the restaurant has become. We had a horrible take out experience several months ago. Friends invited me today so I came, because I believe everyone deserves another chance. The one waitress had her earbud in and could not hear us even when we were speaking directly to her- at one point she got her cell phone out and sent a text WHILE WAITING ON A TABLE. The bill was split incorrectly (likely because she had her earbud in and didn’t hear when we summarized who had what) but the person who rang us up argued with us. When I pointed out that the earbud was in, he shrugged. The other waitress working ran around helping her own tables and bringing us what we needed- I will be giving her a cash tip and will not spend another time at Ninja until...

Sooo I started eating at Ninja about 3 years ago, the staff was always very friendly and remebered me every time I ate there. I was a little hesitant at first because I had never had Sushi in Garden before..but I definitely wasn't disappointed! I moved away for quite awhile and heard they had closed for awhile, v But the last time I was in Garden City I heard they reopened. My husband and I love Ninja and were excited to go back to eat there. Since they reopened, they now are a Hibachi grill also! Its awesome! I highly recommend Ninja to anyone who loves Sushi, they are definitely one of my top picks for places to eat! When I found out they opened one in Liberal, we also eat at that one. Garden City's Ninja is our...
