In the heart of garden city, Kansas nestled between buildings is a vintage restaurant from 1925. Although in this time era, it was owned by Myers ice cream and has had several owners since the original opening. The interior has maintained much of its original structure. In 1943 the restaurant opened for lunch and dinner and still maintaining its 50s vibe.

I ate a grilled cheese sandwich with pickles and chips. I took potato soup to go for dinner later. The food was amazing. It tasted like a home-cooked meal. You have to try the soda fountain it’s one of the few ones left, where they make sodas 1950 style. They have homemade pies too.
Great food, chill drinks, vintage...

The malts are creamy and delicious as well. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and seemed truly excited that we had come to experience Traditions and Garden City. We would highly recommend stopping...

Nice place but they were understaffed for amount of customers. We both got the Fonz burgers and slpit a chef salad. Sadly no fries and were out of limes for limeade....
