Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Garden City

Great food, but have had numerous bad experiences here in the past. Tonight was UREAL. Walked in placed order @6:29 PM, was told 20 mins, which I already knew was a lie. Walked back in 20 mins later, and the lobby was literally FULL of people waiting for pizzas that were supposedly ready, but no one in the kitchen could find. Some had placed their orders online. And they all received calls, asking them to come in to pick up their pizzas as the shop had no delivery drivers. Then...after getting there 30min to an hour later, again, no can find their pizzas. After watching this process go on, one girl boxing pizzas like mad, and putting them in the warming oven, and another girl, obviously new, and not able to keep up with the process, the problem became clear. After watching the manager on duty do a masterful job of refunding the many extremely irate customers (she was wonderful and I felt sorry for her), and putting rewards points back on accounts here and credits, and amendments there, I finally got to talk to her. At which point I asked for a refund, when I saw the look on her face, I actually felt sorry for her. She looked at my receipt, (1 large meat lovers hand tossed), looked at the cashier and said you can't find this pizza? This eventually lead to a conflict where the cashier clocked out and left (which aggravated the kitchen staff) I told the manager I would wait for the pizza if they could make it quick, after which she sincerely looked at me and said "thank you". When she went back into the kitchen to tell them to make the pizza, I could audibly here one of the staff say "I'm sick of this s#%t!. Then I waited as people I know ordered after I did get their pizzas ahead of me. Finally...over an hour after I walked in and ordered 1 pizza, I got my pizza. Almost right....it was pan...I ordered hand tossed. And that was it. No real apology (though I'm sure the manager would've if she wasn't running around like a headless chicken putting out fires), no offer of coupon on future visits for the inconvenience, nothing. Hell the offer of a free 2 liter Pepsi would've somewhat alleviated my wasted time. The sad part is, I'm fairly certain they probably made the pizza in the first place, and it probably still sitting in the warming oven. I used to order pizza for my crew here...no more. The 1 star is strictly on the strength of the manager. Buyer Beware. Avoid Garden...

Usually when I order my pizza from here I don't have any complaints but for some reason today they decided to mess up my order. I ordered the big box which allows you to order two medium pizza's, bread sticks, and a cookie but they give you an option to choose from the cookie or the brownie I choose the brownie after completing my online order I waited my order was supposed to come at 8:41 it came a few minutes late which doesn't bother me but what did bother me was that I only got three items they only gave me one pizza which did not have the balsamic vinaigrette sauce on it they gave me my brownies and the soda I ordered my husband said the person who delivered my items did not give him a receipt to keep (I paid with my credit card) I called pizza hut and the young lady who answered acted as if she couldn't understand what I was saying she asked if I wanted to speak to her manager I said yes her manager got on the phone and I explained to her that they messed my order up she asked for my phone number which I gave her so she could look my order up she looked up my order and asked me what did I want her to do she offered me the bread sticks but did not mention the other pizza they owed me after looking into the boxes again I realized I forgot to tell her they owed me the second medium pizza my husband called and explained to her that I was supposed to get another pizza she gets rude and tells him that I didn't mention anything about another pizza she tells my husband that she will send two pizza's and the bread sticks and my sauce for my pizza had she paid attention to my order when she looked it up she would see that I was supposed to have two medium PIZZA'S! instead of trying to offer me bread sticks that was included in my order anyway they won't ever get a dime of...

Just ate some pizza from there ordered me and my kids 2 large pizzas..I threw up everything I have a whole box and a half of pizza that I do not want to eat!!I tried to get my money back over the phone and Dawn said that I couldn’t.She said that there is nothing she can do about the situation because they have done their part.She wasn’t loud or anything but I know for a fact that she did not care about me or my kids health!!I asked for someone that was over her number and she act as if she did not have a clue!!I am beyond disappointed with this!!Someone needs to check in on the cleaning of this place!!!I have ordered online so I couldn’t see what has been going because my brother picked up the pizza!!!
