Harry's Place — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Smaller place with plenty of parking. 2 TVs on inside and people working behind the counter were very friendly. Place has ceiling fans and was a bit quiet. Many delivery drivers picking up orders as well. We ordered water and they asked if we wanted ice and lemon, which was nice. I ordered rib eye steak and eggs with house potatoes and no veggies, sourdough toast. Hubby ordered French toast with no sugar, eggs and extra crispy bacon. Plus an avocado burger. I used to eat lunch here several times each week when I worked for a company just up the street within walking distance. First thing you may notice is a lack of parking when it's busy. The last thing you may notice will be that it is a challenge to exit the parking lot back into traffic; it's a busy intersection. You may notice that it's not always clean, but the staff do work constantly to maintain cleanliness. The food is mostly standard American and Mexican food at a fair price. My husband and I have been eating at Harry's for over 30 years and have never had a bad meal. We eat breakfast there more often than any other meal as their breakfasts can not be beat. Their hash brown potatoes are better than any place else by far....my husband prefers their homefries. I like their rib eye steaks even though they are thin they are tasty. My husband loves their hamburgers, if I get a hamburger it is usually the sourdough bacon burger.
